(1)Variety source: bred by Crop Institute of Sichuan Province Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 1989 with Mianfen No. 1 as female parent and Xushu 18 as male parent.
(2)Characteristics: medium maturity short vine type. The plant is semi-erect, with 5-8 branches at the base, more than 0.5cm thick vines; green vines and green nodes; green top leaves and mature leaves, shallow heart shape and single deficiency; hammer-shaped potato pieces, light red potato skin and white potato flesh; average drying rate of potato pieces is more than 26%, starch rate is 13.5%; cooked food quality is medium; 3-5 tubers per plant are concentrated; commodity potato rate is 88.9%; germination is good, field growth is vigorous, high resistance to black spot disease, good storage property.
(3)Yield performance: The average yield per mu of fresh potato was 2247.7 kg, which was 22.6% higher than that of control Nanshu 88; the yield per mu of rattan leaf was 1368.5 kg, which was 0.7% higher; the yield per mu of dried potato was 519.5 kg, which was 8.1% higher; the fresh yield per mu of biological was 3620.6 kg, which was 13.4% higher. The average yield per mu of fresh potato was 1578.4 kg, which was 17% higher than that of control Nanshu 88.
