Harvest and processing of Pinellia ternata
1. Harvesting is usually done in summer and autumn after the stems and leaves are withered and fallen seedlings, and can be carried out in the southern provinces from July to August. The method is: choose a sunny day, dig a ditch 12-20 cm deep with a hoe, dig out the tubers of Pinellia ternata one by one, shake off the soil, and remove the rough skin and fibrous roots on the surface of the medicinal materials. Second, the fresh Pinellia ternata mud will be killed and washed, classified according to large, medium and small, respectively into gunny bags, first gently knock on the ground, and then pour into the clear water tank, repeatedly knead, or put the stem into the basket, hit with a stick in the running water or peel with a peeling machine. After washing, take it out and dry, turn it constantly, take it back at night, and spread it indoors (no stacking, no dew). Take it out the next day and dry it completely or semi-dry. you can also mix it with lime to promote water extravasation, and then dry or dry. Pay attention to put it on the sun field before the sun comes out in the morning. If you wait for the sun to be cooked and then spread out, Pinellia ternata is easy to be cooked, and the texture is hard and yellowed. Do not be exposed to the sun, otherwise it is not easy to peel. In case of overcast and rainy days, it can be dried on charcoal fire or furnace fire, but the temperature should not be too high, generally should be controlled between 35-36 ℃. When drying, use a light fire to bake, and often turn, and strive to dry evenly, so as not to appear "stiff", resulting in losses. Note that Pinellia ternata is poisonous. If you touch Pinellia ternata with your hand, you can wipe ginger juice to detoxify it. For example, the export of Pinellia ternata needs further processing. It is about to sift the raw Pinellia ternata according to the grade, remove the smaller individuals, then "return water", pour the Pinellia ternata into a water tank and soak it for 10-15 minutes, rub it gently with tools, and then fish it out and dry it.
