Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Triangular plum, with luxuriant flowers and leaves, easy to plant in pot, not difficult to reproduce, excellent cold resistance. If you put it under the eaves of the south in northwest Jiangxi, you can survive the winter. Disadvantages are: vegetative growth, such as lack of sunlight, improper maintenance and management, it will be difficult to blossom. By adopting one of the following technical measures, it can blossom from June to July, and the flowering period is about 2-3 months. 1. Buckle water: the dormant purple red triangular plum sprouts and grows new branches in March, and most of the new branches grow to about 10 cm in May. Choose sunny and hot days to buckle water for 3 consecutive days.

Bougainvillea, flowers and leaves luxuriant, potted easy, reproduction is not difficult, excellent cold resistance. In the northwest of Jiangxi Province, winter can be overwintered under the eaves of the south. Disadvantages are: nutrient growth, such as insufficient sunlight, improper maintenance management, will be difficult to bloom. Take one of the following technical measures, can bloom in June to July, flowering as long as 2 to 3 months.

1. Buckling water: Dormancy and overwintering purple triangle plum sprout new branches in March, most of which grow to about 10 cm in May, buckle water on sunny days, and do not water and fertilize for 3~5 consecutive days. Deduct water again after 1~2 days interval, totally deduct water for one week. After drinking water, the vegetative growth was quickly transferred to reproductive growth. They can bloom in June. This method can be recycled and the effect is most significant.

2, ring cut: May weather more rain, buckle water invalid, use ring cut. In the lower part of the trunk with a sharp knife up and down the ring cut half circle, the length of 1~1.5 cm, the ring cut bark peeled off, deep to the xylem. After circumcision, it cut off a part of the nutrient transport cycle and promoted its transformation from vegetative growth to reproductive growth, and soon it was pregnant and flowering.

3. Ligation: Also when the buckle fails, wrap a circle of small iron wire around the middle and lower part of the trunk, pad a rubber at about 1/3 of the trunk, so as not to sprain all the bark, twist the two ends of the iron wire into knots, clamp the two ends of the iron wire with a vice, rotate and tighten the iron wire until the bark and the iron wire are balanced. Forcing the nutrient transport absorbed by the roots to be interrupted, the plant is transferred to reproductive growth, forcing the plant to flower.

4. Core picking: From May to June, the new branches of the plants grow to about 10 cm, and the cores are picked in time to prevent the branches from growing into vines, which has a certain effect on the number of new branches and the promotion of new flowers and flowering.
