Ginger still depends on fertilizer to grow, the appropriate way of fertilization can make the ginger grow high quality and sell at a good price. So what aspects should be paid attention to when fertilizing? What are the main points to pay attention to?

1. Fertilizer should be treated.

The fertilizer released by ginger has to be treated, whether it is manure or chemical fertilizer. Manure and other things need to be fermented before they can be released. Unfermented manure will affect the growth of ginger because it carries more bacteria. Secondly, it is easy to cause ginger to burn seedlings out of school. Chemical fertilizers need to be diluted or mixed to prevent a single variety of fertilizer elements from rotting ginger, causing damage to the growth of ginger. This is a point that everyone should pay attention to before fertilizing.

2. Base fertilizer should be better.

Base fertilizer is very important for ginger, so chemical fertilizer is generally not used in the initial stage, because its nutrients are relatively simple, which is not in line with the growth of ginger seedlings, which is easy to make the seedlings underdeveloped. At this time, for the rapid growth of ginger in the later period, the rotten fertilizer will generally be used as the base fertilizer, and its various trace elements are more abundant, followed by the mature fertilizer is relatively mild, which is conducive to the absorption of young ginger, and at the same time will also maintain the surrounding soil and increase the soil fertility, so the base fertilizer should be used well!

3. The time should be right

The time of fertilization needs to be paid attention to. If there are not enough nutrients when fertilizers are needed, ginger will miss the period of development. As the growth time varies from place to place, we can choose the fertilization time here according to the growth form of the growth. When the ginger appears in the first branch, it means that the ginger begins to grow, and it is necessary to start the first topdressing, prepare the second topdressing in the next 2 weeks or so, and wait until the branches reach 8-10, which is the third topdressing.

4. The type of topdressing accords with the growth.

Ginger needs different kinds of fertilizers at each growth stage, and it must be in line with its growth characteristics in order to maximize the use of fertilizers. The initial base fertilizer is mainly rotten fertilizer, and then the first and second topdressing is mainly high nitrogen fertilizer, because ginger we mainly want its roots to expand. The quantity of the first two times is a little less, and the third time is a little larger, mainly nitrogen and potassium compound fertilizer. Later re-fertilization should be based on rotten fertilizer, a small amount at a time, this time is to conserve ginger to make it look better.

Fertilizer is an important part of ginger growth, so we need to pay attention to it. Often, many growers do not have a good harvest because the type of fertilizer is not well controlled.
