As the name implies, organic Chinese cabbage is planted through the method of organic agriculture, and it should be planted according to the production technical standards of organic food in the planting process. Do not use pesticides, chemical fertilizers and other substances that will cause harm to Chinese cabbage to ensure the green health of Chinese cabbage. Therefore, it will be a little different from the ordinary cabbage planting method, so how to grow organic cabbage? The following editor brings you the planting technology of organic Chinese cabbage, let's have a look!

1. Land selection and preparation

The first and most important step in growing organic Chinese cabbage is to choose a pollution-free and beautiful ecological environment. The planting base should be far away from factories, main roads and other places with serious pollution. Ensure that the air quality and water sources are in line with the standards of organic cultivation. And the previous crops in the soil should not be cruciferous crops such as Chinese cabbage. After selecting the land, do a good job of land preparation, plough it flat and ridge, make a high border, turn it about 30 centimeters deep, and then apply sufficient mature farm manure, combined with the right amount of organic biological fertilizer.

2. Seed selection and sowing

The planting varieties should be selected according to the environmental conditions and soil conditions of the planting area to ensure high yield, strong growth ability, good quality and strong disease resistance. Then generally sow around July every year, sowing is generally dominated by strip sowing and hole sowing, when strip sowing, it is necessary to dig the sowing ditch, water before sowing, and spread the seeds evenly into the sowing ditch after the water seeps into the soil. If the hole sowing, control the sowing density and dig the sowing hole, sow about 5 seeds in every other sowing hole, cover the fine soil after sowing, and water to promote the seed germination.

3. Seedling management

After sowing, we should pay attention to observe the changes of soil moisture and weather. If the soil moisture is sufficient and it rains, then there is no need to apply fertilizer during the period before emergence. But pay attention to keep the soil moist, if the soil moisture is not good, then you need to water enough after sowing. About a week after the seedlings were unearthed, the seedlings should be properly watered and sprayed with foliar fertilizer, and then the second seedlings should be carried out when the seedlings were 4 true leaves, based on the principle of keeping the strong and removing the weak. Then do a good job of weeding in ploughing to prevent weeds from grabbing nutrition and dressing properly. When the seedlings grow for about 3 weeks and grow 5 true leaves, they can be transplanted.

4. Field management

It is necessary to pour enough water the day before planting to facilitate seedling transplanting and prevent damage to the roots of Chinese cabbage. After planting, the middle tillage depth should be controlled according to the soil and planting position, and then properly cultivate the soil to cover the roots of cabbage to prevent the roots from being washed away by water. When cabbage grows to rosette stage, appropriate amount of bio-organic compound fertilizer should be applied and properly watered to promote fertilizer decomposition. During the heading period, the amount of water should be controlled to prevent excessive water from causing petiole cracking and root retting.

The above is a brief introduction to the planting technology of organic Chinese cabbage. When planting organic Chinese cabbage for pest control, we should pay attention to the use of pesticides. Pesticides should not be used, mainly oxytetracycline and agricultural streptomycin to prevent the quality of organic Chinese cabbage from being affected. That's all for today's introduction.
