Autumn and winter coincides with the season of lilies and oncium orchids in full bloom. In order to promote local flowers, the Taichung Municipal Bureau of Agriculture has been displaying flower art in the atrium of Huizhong Building for four days since yesterday (1). The empty bridge on the second floor of the Le Nong Hall in Huabo Waipu Park is also planned as the "Huayu wishing Bridge". At the end of January, 4000 flowers are provided every week, inviting tourists to participate in flower arrangement, spread New year's greetings and show the beauty of Taichung flowers.

The Taichung Municipal Bureau of Agriculture says that there are many kinds of flowers in Taichung, especially lilies and Oncidium, which are most suitable for the climate and environment in Taichung. Their output and quality are the highest in Taichung, and they are mainly produced in Houli, Xinshe and other areas. The planting area of lilies is about 194ha, with an annual output of 41 million branches, which is widely used in horticultural layout and cut flower decoration. Oncidium is a tropical flower with special shape, beautiful shape and long florescence, because it looks like a dancing woman. also known as dancing orchid, planting area of about 105ha, annual output of 27 million.

In order to welcome 2019, the Le Nong Pavilion in Waipu Park specially planned the empty bridge on the second floor as the "Flower and wish Bridge". Lilies and Oncidium from Taichung florists were selected, and visitors were invited to arrange the scene together. Each person received a lily and inserted it into a water bottle to represent peace and harmony for a hundred years, and made a New year's resolution, hoping that on the day the flowers bloomed, the wishes would bloom together with the flowers.

In addition, every weekend in January (1pm 5, 1max 6, 1max 12, 1max 13, 1max 19, 1max 20, 1max 26, 1max 27), Le Nong Hall also has flower wish activities, providing 4000 lilies and Oncidium every week, inviting tourists to jointly decorate the Flower Blessing Bridge, not only to convey the beauty of flowers in Taichung, but also to promote local flowers to grow and sell themselves, and to use the Bridge to spread the wishes and blessings of the people.
