Cyclamen sowing and breeding, after growing seedlings should be well managed and maintained, cyclamen can blossom normally and blossom with luxuriant leaves. Cyclamen can be put on the pot 15 to 18 weeks after sowing or 5 to 6 weeks after transplantation when the seedlings have 7 to 10 leaves. 10 weeks after sowing, when the plant has 3 to 5 leaves, the micro series and mini series can be put on the pot directly from the seedling plate.

1. Matrix. Peat with good permeability is required to be mixed with-proportional clay (10%) and perlite. Ph values range from 6 to 6.5, and proper calcium fertilizer can be added to the matrix. The ec value is less than 0.5.

2. Pot and planting depth. Use a standard or self-made seedling system to push the seedlings from the bottom up, and be careful not to hurt the roots. The soil just covers the roots, leaving the bulbs exposed. Do not press down on the seedlings and the surrounding soil with your hands.

3. Climatic conditions. The best temperature: 17 degrees Celsius 2 to 3 weeks after potting, and then it can be reduced to 14 degrees Celsius to 16 degrees Celsius relative humidity: 60% to 85% Note: if the daytime temperature is 25 degrees Celsius, the relative humidity is 50%, the temperature drops to 13 degrees Celsius that night, and the humidity reaches 100%, which will produce condensate and affect its growth.

4. Light. If the external light intensity is between 30 klux and 40 klux, use a sunshade net with a shading rate of 7.5%. If the external light is between 40 klux and 73 klux, a double-layer sunshade net should be used.

5. Fertilization. Usually, the ratio of n ∶ p ∶ k is 1 ∶ 1 ∶ 1 in the initial stage, 1 ∶ 1 ∶ 2 in the middle stage and 1 ∶ 1 ∶ 3 in the later stage. The ec value of matrix should be less than 1.0. The amount of fertilizer should be reduced in the period of high temperature, and the amount of fertilizer should be reduced for small varieties such as micro series.

6. Watering. Regular watering, dry and wet, do not touch the leaves with your hands, it is easy to damage the seed ball and breed diseases. Watering from the upper part in the first 6 weeks after putting on the basin, when the leaves are dense and the root system is developed, water should be supplied or drip irrigated from the bottom. Water only in the early morning or in the morning.

7. The length of flower stem. The length of flower stem is affected by temperature. The flower stem can be shortened by increasing the temperature at night and low temperature in the morning.

8. Bloom. Cyclamen flowering is closely related to the average temperature of day and night. When the average temperature of day and night exceeds 27 degrees Celsius, the buds grow slowly. If the temperature is higher, it will seriously affect the bud growth, resulting in leaf growth, but the plant will continue to grow and blossom after the high temperature period. Therefore, when the average temperature of day and night is more than 27 degrees Celsius, the plant will enter a dormant state and grow during the growing period.

9. Pest control. In the early morning or evening of dry days, when there are no workers in the greenhouse, spray alcohol and insecticides. Ensure that the plants are dry at night and the ventilation between plants is good.

How to maintain cyclamen

Cyclamen how to maintain the goods from novice flower friends is the first thing to know. Most flower friends are finished cyclamen bought from a florist or greenhouse. They change pots immediately in order to look good when they get home. Some flower friends buy them and put them in strong sunshine. Some flower friends invade pots after they buy them, and some flower friends put them on the heating and floor heating when they buy them. Some flower friends wash the leaves with water after they get home, some flower friends pick up the pot soil after buying it at home, and some flower friends get fat after they buy it home, and so on. I don't know which one you belong to? Stop it, flower friend!

The above is not aimed at anyone, it is generally a common fault, see excuse me, let's talk about my method (several years of experience): I never invade the basin by saying a few words about watering, except for the 6-month-old seedlings (except for the 6-month-old seedlings). (the premise is that the flower ball is exposed by 1/3). After cyclamen comes home:

1. Slow the light for 7 days. Let him be familiar with the environment. (temperature and humidity) most cyclamen products are cultivated in greenhouse and greenhouse. After the buyer reaches the temperature, there is no way to do so.

2. You can't change the basin. If you want to look good, put on a nice basin.

3. Slow irrigation of small water, slowly pour through, and gradually increase the amount of water (mainly for fear that he will not be satisfied with the soil and water)

4. Never put the heater on. If you have geothermal flowers, try to put them on the coffee table (if you don't put them on the flower rack, the heat will fumigate).

Don't rinse the leaves, they will rot and wipe the dirty places with wet toilet paper.

6. Try not to get fat first, even after adapting to the environment. Remember that it is better to have less than more.

The above is my point of view, there are less than the guidance of flower friends, learn from each other, and improve together!

Soil selection of culture method of cyclamen

Cyclamen culture soil can use humus soil, forest rotten leaf soil, furnace ash and so on, and add appropriate amount of calcium carbonate and other chemicals to prepare. This kind of soil is relatively loose, which is helpful to the growth of cyclamen. During cultivation, we should pay attention to the size of the container, gradually increase and can not use large pots to cultivate small seedlings.

Fertilization method

Cyclamen like fertile soil, but do not like thick fertilizer, turn over the basin need to apply some basic fertilizer, generally 1-2 weeks can be fertilized once, pay attention to thin fertilizer diligently. After several months of vegetative growth, organic fertilizer is applied, flowers are watered with water, and fertilization should be stopped when the temperature can not be controlled in summer.

Watering method

Although cyclamen is drought-resistant, it is best to keep the soil moist during its growing season and pay attention to the fact that there is no stagnant water in the basin. Water frequently but less, don't get too wet. If the summer is not dormant, normal watering can be carried out, and the basin soil needs to be kept sweet and moist. After the Beginning of Autumn, he will enter the reproductive growth period. at this time, it is necessary to apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to control the growth of nutrition, promote the differentiation of flower buds and blossom.

Temperature requirement

The growth temperature of cyclamen is suitable at 10-22 ℃, and the temperature during the day and night should be kept at 8-10 ℃. Flowers can also bloom if the night temperature is controlled at about 7-8 ℃, but the florescence will be delayed slightly; if it is lower than 6 ℃, it will not blossom normally.

Lighting demand

Temperature and light have certain effects on the growth and development of cyclamen. In the whole process, we need to start with the temperature and consider prolonging the flowering period. When the number of flowers decreases in late April, the flowers need to be removed from the greenhouse and cultivated in a well-ventilated place. Climate change, suitable temperature and light will make cyclamen grow a batch of scape and continue to blossom. In the Yangtze River basin and its southern region, the leaves gradually turn yellow after May, which is a reflection of the rise in temperature. At this time, watering needs to be controlled. In summer, conditional cooling equipment should be used to lower the temperature of the environment.
