Common methods of centipede culture
The centipede has always been a poisonous creature in everyone's impression, coupled with its ferocious shape, which makes the centipede unpopular. However, for farmers, centipedes are actually a good breeding direction, and the demand for medicine is still very high. So what are the breeding methods for centipedes?
1. Field culture
This is a breeding method that mimics the survival of centipedes in the wild, and it is said that the centipedes cultivated in this way are more effective. Choose a relatively dark wasteland, and then build a fence, the wall buried about 20 centimeters, put some stones in the middle, a little more. Then build a centipede shelter with a larger area that can shade the sun. Put insects such as ants in the middle, and put in some chicken feathers and weeds to simulate the living environment of centipedes in the wild.
2. Brick pond culture
Brick pond culture is a common way at present, which is commonly used in various places. Choose a place to build a pool, show a sealed state, reserve a hole for bottom ventilation and cleaning, and seal with gauze cloth. The thickness of the bottom of the pool is about 10-20 cm, there can be no gap residue, the height of the pool wall is determined by the culture height inside, generally about 60-80 cm, and the top is sealed with gauze. Inside, it is made of brick and asbestos net, which is used for the growth and reproduction of centipedes. The size of the gap is reserved according to the culture density, and can be added in the blank position in the later stage.
3. Wooden box culture
Wooden box culture is a way to make full use of culture space, if there are few breeding sites, you can try this culture method. In fact, it is to choose a good wooden box, open the vents and feeding ports around, and seal it with net gauze to prevent the centipede from escaping, and the top should be easy to disassemble and harvest later. Wooden cases can be stacked on top of each other, but can not interfere with the feeding mouth, each height can be controlled at about 30cm. In the middle, you can choose to fill some materials such as soil, broken tiles and stones to meet the living habits of the centipede.
4. Culture in shed
This is suitable for the transformation and use of farmers with breeding sheds, or under the renovation of vacant houses. Block up the cracks at the bottom of the house and hide the centipede. Then its sub-region, the middle reserved channel, the isolation board can be wood, ceramic tile board and other substances, fix it, there can be no gap at the bottom. The isolation board and walls should be relatively smooth, otherwise you will need to cover the top with a protective net, because the centipede's ability to climb the wall is very strong.
The above are several common breeding methods of centipedes, and there are some other rare methods. The editor will not introduce them one by one. After all, there are always some exclusive ways of raising centipedes in various places. If you want to pick up more, you can check it on our website!
