The Great Food and Education Association held the first Taiwan School lunch Competition in October 2018 to launch a gentle school lunch social movement.

On December 6, partners of the Dahang Food and Education Association joined hands with Liu Qinyu, associate professor of the Department of Nutrition Science of Fu Jen University, Yang Ruiping, dietitian and chef Zhu Fengmei of Xiufeng Primary School, the champion of the first Taiwan School Competition. They went to Tokyo to watch the 13th National School feeding Jiazi Garden Competition in Japan, and opened the exchange of lunch staff in front-line schools in Taiwan and Japan.

In addition, this is a rare opportunity to visit a number of official and non-governmental organizations, such as the School feeding Surveyor of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology, the Tokyo Metropolitan School feeding Association, the Tokyo Metropolitan School feeding Center, the National School feeding Association and the Japan Food and Education Association, to understand how Japan uses different levels of strength to enhance the quality of school lunches and people's awareness of food choices.

This apprentice sharing session is the first important event of Dahang Food and Education Association in 2019. Four speakers, including Secretary General Huang Jialin, Associate Professor Liu Qinyu, nutritionist Yang Ruiping and researcher Chen Ruwei, were invited to share the trainees with friends in Taiwan who are concerned about diet from the perspectives of non-governmental organizations and movements, school kitchen practice, dietitian education and publication and promotion.
