Flammulina velutipes is one of the early cultivated edible fungi in China. It is delicious, nutritious and rich in a variety of amino acids and other nutrients needed by the human body. It is one of the edible fungi that consumers prefer. But what should be paid attention to when Flammulina velutipes is cultivated? Let's have a look with the editor.

1. Temperature

Flammulina velutipes is fruiting fungi at low temperature, its hyphae can grow in the environment of 3-34 degrees, the most suitable temperature for growth is between 20 and 30 degrees, and grows slowly when the temperature is lower than 5 degrees. The formation of its fruiting body needs to be in the environment of 5-20 degrees, while the suitable temperature for the formation of primordia is 12-15 degrees. Under the environment of about 13 degrees, the differentiation of fruiting bodies is the fastest and the number of fruiting bodies is more. Once the temperature is higher than 20 degrees, the growth of the fruiting body is weak, the number is small, and it is easy to dry up, so we must pay attention to the change of temperature when cultivating.

2. Humidity

During cultivation, we should also pay attention to the change of humidity. When the water content of the cultivation substrate is 60%-65%, it is the period when the mycelium grows fastest. If the water content is too much, the mycelium grows slowly and will not even extend to the substrate. It is not suitable to spray water directly when growing in the fruiting body, so 70% is better when allocating the substrate, while the air humidity in the mycelium culture room should be kept at about 60%. Once the humidity is too high, the probability of bacteria contamination increases. The humidity of the mushroom room is 80% and 90%.

3. Ventilation

Flammulina velutipes is a kind of aerobic fungus, which must have sufficient oxygen when it comes out of mushroom, otherwise it cannot produce mushroom normally, and after the fruiting body is formed, the diameter of the cap will decrease with the increase of the concentration of carbon dioxide in the mushroom room, so it is necessary to strengthen ventilation during cultivation to ensure sufficient oxygen. Once the content of carbon dioxide in the air exceeds 1%, it will inhibit the development of the cap, and once the concentration of carbon dioxide exceeds 5%, the development of the stalk will be affected.

4. Lighting

Flammulina velutipes is a light-averse fungus, its hyphae can only grow normally in the dark environment, and the young primordium should also be in the dark environment. But its fruiting body formation and maturity also need certain light conditions, in the fruiting body formation stage, the light is strong, the fungal stalk is short, the cover opens the umbrella quickly, the fruiting body is dark, the light is weak, the fruiting body is light and the appearance is good.

The above is the introduction of Flammulina velutipes cultivation points for attention, hope to help you, want to know more related knowledge, please pay attention to us.
