Lingxiao flower, a kind of beautiful flower with tenacious vitality, is deeply loved by flower friends. However, friends who raise Lingxiao flowers should know that a plant or a pot of Lingxiao flowers, the scenery is very monotonous, what should we do at this time? In order to save money, florists should master the breeding method of Lingxiao flower. As for how to reproduce, there are four main methods: cutting, striping, dividing and sowing, let's go and have a look.

1. How to propagate, cuttings / strips / ramets / sowing

Lingxiao flower, many people should have seen it, it looks like a trumpet flower, but bigger and more colorful. A Lingxiao flower is delicate and monotonous, and a group of Lingxiao flowers look shocking, and this needs to be reproduced. There are four main propagation methods of Lingxiao flower, cutting, striping, splitting and sowing, among which family propagation is commonly used in cutting and striping, the method is relatively simple and the survival rate is high!

Second, the propagation method of Lingxiao flower.

Lingxiao flower has strong adaptability and reproductive ability. However, Lingxiao is not easy to bear fruit, and it is difficult to get seeds, so the propagation of Lingxiao mainly adopts cutting method and striping method. The following is about these two methods of reproduction, the editor will focus on introducing them for you.

1. Cuttage propagation

① cutting time

It is important to choose the right time for cuttage propagation, which can improve the survival rate. Generally speaking, the south is mostly carried out in spring, while the north is generally carried out in autumn, and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River should be carried out from April to May.

② cuttings selection

The selection of cuttings should be made in advance, generally starting from November to December every year. Cut the sturdy and pest-free branches as cuttings, and each branch is cut into about 13 centimeters. It is best to ensure that there are 3 nodes on the branches, and then carry out sand storage.

③ cuttage start

Insert the previously prepared cuttings directly into the soil. The depth of cuttings is 1ap2 of cuttings. After cutting, cover the pot with glass to ensure sufficient temperature and humidity, and control the temperature at 23-28 ℃.

④ takes root after 20 days.

After completing the above steps, the cuttage of Lingxiahua is basically completed. It can take root in the next 20 days and can be planted in pots in the spring of the following year. It is worth mentioning that cutting in the southern region does not have to be so troublesome, but directly in the spring, cut the fresh and tender branches of that year, plant them in the soil, control the temperature and humidity, and they will soon take root and survive.

2. Striping propagation

In addition to cutting, pressing is also one of the propagation methods of Lingxiao flower, the operation is relatively simple, spring, summer and autumn can be carried out, but it is best to carry out in July, select sturdy branches, pull the vines to the surface, bury them with soil in stages, expose the buds and keep the soil moist.

Lingxiao flower striping propagation is more commonly used in the family. The potted Lingxiao flower can directly pull the branch into another flowerpot and bury the branch. After taking root, the branch can be separated from the mother plant. After the above operation, it can take root in about 50 days, and after taking root, cut off the branches and dig them out and transplant.

3. Sowing and propagation of Lingxiao flower.

Although it is difficult to get seeds, it is also available, so one of the breeding methods of Lingxiao flower is sowing. The sowing season of Lingxiao flower is spring, but the seed ripening time is about October. Before sowing, the seeds should be carefully selected and soaked in clean water for 2-3 days. On the one hand, germination can be accelerated and the germination rate can be improved.

On the other hand, get rid of the seeds floating on the water so as not to do useless work when sowing. In March, spring flowers bloom, choose a sunny day, plant the seeds in a pot, or in a seedling tray, control the humidity, and wait for them to sprout and grow leaves.

4. Split-root propagation of Lingxiao flower.

Root splitting is also one of the propagation methods of Lingxiao flower, but it has a premise that many new seedlings grow in the part of the plant near the ground, which can be dug up and planted in spring. Of course, this sowing and root separation for most flower friends, do not need to master, you can understand it.

How does Lingxiao cuttage propagation? The method of cutting Propagation in Lingxiao

How does Lingxiao cuttage propagation? Lingxiao is a plant of the genus Lingxiao of the family Liriodendron, whose flowers are beautiful in color and are garden plants that many people want to plant. Today we are going to talk about Lingxiao's asexual cutting tissue culture technique.

Lingxiao is mainly produced in China, mainly distributed in the north and south of China, mainly in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other places, born in valleys, streams, under sparse forests, or climbing trees, stone walls or artificial cultivation. Lingxiao is an excellent vertical greening plant material with bright color and long flowering period, which has strong ornamental value and ecological value. In addition, Lingxiao flower is also a kind of traditional Chinese medicine, which has the effect of removing blood stasis, cooling blood and dispelling wind.

1 Cuttage propagation

Ling Xiaoxi has a warm and humid environment, does not have strict requirements on the soil, and can grow on both sandy loam and clay loam.

1.1 preparation of inserts

In spring or rainy season, select Lingxiao disease-free, robust half-year-old or annual branches, cut about 20 cm long, with two pairs of axillary buds cuttings, remove leaves, cut flat above, cut into horseshoe shape at the bottom and insert into clear water.

1.2 preparation of drugs

Although Lingxiao cuttage is easy to survive, it is also necessary to prepare nutrient solution and rooting agent in order to improve the cutting survival rate and shorten the cutting time. The specific formula is as follows:

The main results are as follows: (1) MS was used as the basic medium, and a large amount of IBA 0.1 mg/L and iron salt were used to prepare nutritious rooting solution.

(2) prepare the solution directly with rooting powder according to the concentration in the instructions.

1.3 Cuttage substrate

The matrix is made of newly bought vermiculite, exposed to the sun before use, or treated with 2%-5% potassium permanganate solution, and then loaded into a medium white transparent nutrition bowl with a height of 1 inch 2.

1.4 Cuttage method

Insert cuttings into prepared nutrition bowls, insert 5 cuttings in each bowl, insert 1 bank 2 at the depth of cuttings, place them in plastic plates (40 small nutrition bowls per plate), pour into the prepared rooting solution, completely soak and seal with white plastic film. Cultured in greenhouse temperature 18 ~ 25 ℃, astigmatism 2500lx light conditions. If the humidity in the nutrition bowl is suitable, the rooting rate can reach 85% ~ 92% in about 18-25 days, and then the film can be breathed, and the mulch can be removed for routine management in about 35 days.

2 tissue culture propagation

2.1 treatment of explants

In spring, cut out the terminal bud of Lingxiao and the budded stem segment of the upper 1 ~ 2 nodes, cut off the leaves, rinse with detergent diluent, and then rinse with tap water. Soak in 70% alcohol solution for 10 s on the super clean worktable, rinse twice with aseptic water, disinfect 3 ~ 6min with 0.1% mercury, rinse with aseptic water for 5 times, and finally absorb water with aseptic filter paper.

The treated explants were cut into single bud stem segments with a length of 1 ~ 2 cm and put into bud induction medium: MS+BA 0.1mg/L+IAA0.1 mg/L, sugar 30g / L, Agar 5g / L and pH 5.8g / L. The culture conditions are: temperature (25 ±2) ℃, relative humidity 50% ~ 75%, light 1800 ~ 2500lx. The explant buds began to germinate after 2 weeks, and the new buds could grow to 2 ~ 3 cm in 4 weeks. A robust medium for bud transfer was selected: MS+BA 0.5 mg/L+IAA 0.2 mg/L, sugar 30g/L, Agar 5g point L, pH 5.8, and the propagation coefficient was more than 5 after 3 weeks. The robust tufted buds were cut into 2cm high and transferred into the rooting medium of 1/2MS+IBA0.2mg/L, sugar 10g/L and Agar 5g 10g/L. After 3 weeks, 4 ~ 5 fibrous roots could grow from the base and formed intact plants with a height of 2.5 ~ 3 cm.

2.3 Seedling training and transplanting

The seedlings of Lingxiao bottle were moved into the solar greenhouse, and the seedlings were refined under natural light for one week. One day before transplanting, the lid of the bottle was opened and a little water was injected. The seedlings were taken out with the camera the next day, and the culture medium at the base was washed off with clean water. The seedlings were soaked in 1000 times carbendazim solution for 5 min, and then transferred to a sterilized pure vermiculite small nutrition bowl. 4 plants per bowl, centrally placed, and put on a small arch shed, the temperature in the shed is kept at 15 ~ 25 ℃, the air humidity is 80% ~ 90%, and the sunshade net is added to control the temperature on a sunny day.

Gradually ventilated and transparent after 1 week, during this period, special attention should be paid to moisturizing, using a small number of water spraying methods to replenish water in time, and spraying fungicides once in sunny days to prevent seedlings from rotting. New roots grow after 5 weeks, and the survival rate of seedlings is more than 90%. The pastoral soil, cow dung and fine sand were mixed in the ratio of 2 ∶ 1 ∶ 1 and fumigated with formaldehyde. Using a large white plastic basin, the surviving seedlings can be put on the basin directly, 1 plant in each basin, replenish water in time, and pay attention to shading and ventilation with weather changes, and other new buds can enter the routine management.

The above is Lingxiao's asexual cutting tissue culture technology, which can be seen by the seedling farmers who have planted Lingxiao at home. More wonderful content is on Huinong net!

How to propagate Lingxiao flower, three methods of cuttage, striping and plant division

How to propagate Lingxiao Flower 1. Cutting Propagation method

The cuttage time of Lingxiao flower is generally better in spring in the south, but better in autumn in the north, and it is better in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River from April to May.

First of all, we should select the sturdy and pest-free branches, cut off the selected branches, cut the long branches into 10~15cm segments, put them in a ventilated place to dry, wait for the branches to dry, and insert the branches directly into the soil. Generally, the flowers take root about 20 days after cutting.

2. The method of striping propagation

Lingxiao flower crimping time can generally be carried out in spring, summer and autumn, and the method of striping operation is relatively simple, first of all, we will choose a good branch for crimping, and bury the branch in the soil, and keep the soil moist, generally Lingxiao flower stem will slowly take root, generally after about 50 days of rooting, you can cut off the branches and transplant.

3. The mode of ramet propagation

The ramet time of Lingxiao flower is generally carried out in early spring, that is, the small seedlings born from root buds near the mother plant of Lingxiao flower are dug up and planted in pots.
