Soybean is one of the main food crops in China, its planting area is very extensive, and the nutritional value of soybean is high, the market demand is large, its planting prospect is quite good. However, it can not be planted everywhere, because soybeans need an environment suitable for soybeans to grow, otherwise soybeans will not survive. So what are the environmental requirements for growing soybeans? The following editor brings you these environmental requirements, let's have a look!

1. Soil

The adaptability of soybean is relatively strong, there is little demand for soil, and most of the soil can grow normally. However, in order to grow high-quality and high-yield soybeans, we still need to choose soils with normal drainage and irrigation, rich humus, strong water and fertilizer conservation and deep soft soil. The pH value of the soil should be kept at about 6.5-7, and an appropriate amount of fertilizer should be applied to the soil to improve soil fertility. After planting, do a good job of topdressing to ensure that the growth of soybean has sufficient nutrition, prevent the lack of soil fertility, affect the growth of soybean and reduce the yield.

2. Temperature

Soybeans prefer to grow in a warm environment, moderate temperature is conducive to the growth of soybeans, the temperature after growth should not be lower than 6 degrees before the seeds will sprout gradually. About 11 degrees is the optimum germination temperature for seeds. The cold resistance of soybean seedlings should be related to their growth, and the temperature should not be lower than zero degrees. During the growth period of soybean, the temperature should be controlled at about 20 degrees. If the temperature is lower than 15 degrees, the flower bud differentiation will be greatly hindered and the seed setting rate of pollination will be reduced. In the later stage, the temperature should not be lower than 12 degrees, otherwise the grouting will be affected to a certain extent.

3. Lighting

The requirement of soybean for light is relatively large, and it is sensitive to the change of light. Because the pods of soybean are mainly distributed in the upper and lower parts of the plant, the whole plant should have sufficient light to promote leaf photosynthesis and improve nutrition accumulation. Therefore, in the process of planting, it is necessary to improve the permeability of the plant to ensure that the leaves of the plant can receive sunlight comprehensively and evenly. But soybean is also a short-day crop, so it is necessary to control the daily light time, control the ratio of dark to light time, and promote the flowering of soybean, otherwise it will prolong the growth period of soybean.

4. Moisture

The water demand of soybean is relatively large in the whole growth period, and it is the top one among the food crops with high water consumption. However, soybean has different water requirements at different growth stages. during the period from sowing to emergence, it can ensure that the soil is wet, enhance seed water absorption and promote seed germination and emergence. Its soil water content should be maintained at about 55%, and then when it comes to flowering, the growth rate of soybeans will accelerate, and the demand for water will increase sharply. But you can't water too much to prevent the roots from rotting, so you should drain water in time when you overwater or when you encounter rainy days.

The above is a brief introduction to the environmental requirements of soybeans. Although soybeans can grow healthily in most soils, the yield is bound to decline. Therefore, we still can not choose the soil casually to avoid insufficient yield and affect the economic benefits of planting.
