At present, quails are generally used to produce quail eggs, followed by meat quails. And we all know that quail eggs are very nutritious health care eggs, and the market price is relatively high. At the same time, quail meat is also very popular, often appear in a major hotel, of course, quail meat is also a relatively rare game. The number of quail farmers has been increasing in recent years, so what are the problems that often occur in quail breeding? Let's take a look at it.

1. The stool is green

There are two reasons why the stools pulled by big quails are green. The first reason is relatively normal, then it is that during this period of time, quails eat too much green material, so the stools pulled out by quails are also green, so this is healthy. If there is no more green feed, if the stool is green, then it needs to be paid attention to. It is very likely that there are intestinal infections caused by improper selection of feed, there are too many bacteria in the intestines, and the stool is green. At this time, we can use quail ulcerative enteritis to treat, the usage and dosage of medicine refer to the instructions.

2. The eggshell is thin, soft and fragile.

Quail eggshells laid by quails are very thin, or soft-skinned quail eggs appear. Such quails are very easy to break and are not conducive to storage and sale. This problem occurs when quails lay eggs, which is also very common in the process of breeding, such as chickens, ducks, geese and other poultry advantages. This is mainly due to the lack of calcium, so what we need to do is to add the right amount of bone powder or use a diet with high calcium content.

3. The appearance of semi-yellowish and low laying rate

Some quail eggs have half of the yolk, which is also a very common phenomenon, and this phenomenon is mainly due to the lack of nutrition. In the case of unreasonable feed collocation, resulting in nutritional imbalance, caused by a kind of abnormal egg. And this kind of quail eggs with only half of the yolk is not good to sell, and the economic price will not be too high, so we have to do timely and reasonable mix of feed, maintain nutritional balance, and increase the right amount of concentrate.

4. Haematemesis

Some quails spit blood from their mouths after death, which is a problem often encountered in the process of raising quails. And quail hematemesis after death is not a serious disease, one of the main reasons is caused by the breeding environment. Quail is a relatively timid creature, so it may have very small movements, such as raising cats, dogs, chickens, ducks and other creatures in the farm, so when they bark, they will alarm quails, cause an overreaction, and die in severe cases, and then vomit blood. Then the farm must be built in a quiet place, do not let strangers in and out of the breeding room at will, slow down when raising, do not raise other animals, so as not to frighten them.

The above are the most common problems in quail breeding, and these are more detailed things, so many farmers will inadvertently have breeding misunderstandings, resulting in breeding failure.
