The preface "Xia Yun Erlin / Fangyuan visit and Survey Group" is one of Xia Yun's rural visit and survey teams. the scope of this group is not limited to the traditional "countryside", outside the famous Taiwan rural Changhua Erlin. Along with the concern for Taiwan's primary industry, we went to the southwest coast of Changhua and visited the offshore aquaculture fisheries of Fangyuan and Wang Gong.

[lesson 1: begging for the Sea Man] / Wu Jialing

The place of this visit came to Wang Gong and Xinbao in Changhua, although their hometown is not far from the sea. However, for me, who has never been out to sea, fishing is a very strange industry for me. When I got on an iron ox cart for the first time, the engine puffed and carried us to the west coast of Changhua, which was 6000 meters long and had a rich ecological intertidal zone. this is a far cry from the intertidal zone I have seen before in Xiao Ryukyu, just like Grandma Liu visiting the Grand View Garden. I have never been to the west coast of Changhua. You can never say that you have been to the intertidal zone!

When I came to Changhua, I learned a lot of local knowledge. (ahem.) The first lesson: "begging for sea people"

What is the true meaning of this noun? My god! I have never thought about this term seriously. after the young teacher's explanation, the beggar is: "beg for a bite of food from the sea." it suddenly dawned on me. It turned out that this is how the old proverb "rely on the mountain to eat the sea" comes from. "begging" is to beg heaven, seemingly humble, but it is to show the fishermen's tenacious idea of survival. So, what do fishermen demand from the sea? One of the answers is "Liangmiao", which is amazing. It turns out that raising oysters is very different from farming. You don't need to buy seeds from businessmen, or you need to reserve your own seeds, and you plan to plant some land in the coming year. As long as you put a string of oysters into the sea, the saplings will automatically attach to the shellfish shell. I was very shocked. I kept shouting in my heart: it's amazing! What a great industry! Unexpectedly, you can farm (raise rice) without buying seeds. The above is a picture of the inner impact of the children of farmers who do not know much. We will continue the next lesson.

[this vast intertidal zone is moved by seeing] / Chen Yijun / tr. by Phil Newell)

Nature, biosphere, wetlands, intertidal zones, fiddler crabs, oysters, clams, seabirds, what is our imagination? In late summer and early September, I came here for the first time. This national treasure wetland, which is located between Dacheng and Fangyuan Township, can also be called the scheduled place of Guoguang Petrochemical. The six-kilometer-long intertidal zone, which I have not seen in 20 years, is full of pictures of white fiddler crabs moving, which has been imprinted on my mind since that day. I can't forget the back of the intertidal zone standing in the intertidal zone with utensils and harvested oysters.

When I got on the iron ox cart and clanked into the intertidal zone with a clatter from the land, and the tension of the iron ox cart's feet slowly sinking into the mud, even when I entered the chest-to-chest sea water, I also want to make my friends, my children, and even my grandchildren feel.

I am only a very ordinary student. I do not know how to compare the economic benefits of fishing and industry in detail. I do not know how many industries and opportunities Guoguang Petrochemical can promote. All I know is that the great mother of the intertidal zone cannot be replaced, because she feeds countless small fish, shrimps and crabs, and feeds many hard-working farming families.

For tens of millions of years, my mother has been there quietly, guarding the children of the intertidal zone, guarding the natural ecology, and guarding us.

This is not only a touch of seeing, but also an opportunity to make your imagination come true. if you really step into this vast intertidal zone, you will know how precious it is. [poem: Guoguang Petrochemical] Wen / Lu Guanming

Changhua big city

There is a large area of wetland soil where aquatic organisms give birth to many lives and generations of farmers.

Little crab

Walking to the sea with countless little crabs from the soil home, I heard the puff of an iron ox cart wake them from their siesta. I'm sorry. I hope our arrival didn't disturb them.

Takata

There are still several rows of neat shelves on the mudflats, and the shells hanging on the shelves are still waiting for the seedlings to be attached to the rising and ebbing tide of the sea. When the oysters grow up and grow up, they devote their lives to the delicious food, fried noodles, noodles and bean curd soup.

Clam

On the side of the lagoon, there are several aunts soaking in it, touching clams, picking clams, rice fields in the water provided by the sea water, rice fields in the water, it looks like a farmer's harvest, bending down to pick the beautiful ears of rice.

A harmony of the coexistence of nature and human beings at the scheduled site of Guoguang Petrochemical in this big city wetland.

Guard the mouth of the Zhuoshui River, protect the white dolphins, and also protect the health of the Taiwanese. [by Phil Newell) / Zheng Biwei /

Film: come and have a look at the land subscribed by your National Trust.

Film introduction

Zhuoshui River is the longest river in Taiwan, nourishing all Taiwanese.

The intertidal zone at the mouth of the Zhuoshui River looks down on endless fiddler crabs. Oyster production accounts for 1/3 of Taiwan's total output, which is the predetermined site of Guoguang Sinopec. It is also the first time that Taiwan has noticed that the national trust method is used to protect the land purchased by white dolphins.

The summer heat in August makes the whole body sticky and greasy, with a steamy atmosphere, which inspires the enthusiasm of the interviewer. When I came to Erlin, I gathered at Putian Palace and changed into sunscreen sleeves and special shoes for the sea. Everyone in iron ox carts, exposed to the rumbling noise of the motor, Putian Palace gradually away, toward the 6-kilometer-long dark color of the wetland, egrets spread their wings to welcome us. In the muddy land of the vast field of vision, people are interspersed at the junction of the land of Shanghai, and on the left-hand side is Formosa plastic six Light, which has just caught fire.

[Xia Yun] the partners experience the intertidal belt touching and washing pants that supply Wang Gong's thousands of villagers' seafood. And casting a net to catch fish. Experienced fishermen can catch crabs easily. It is as delicious as the fresh and tender oysters that are readily available, with or without Washa rice.

We can see that the accumulated soil brought by Liuqing has gradually seriously affected the culture of fishermen's fish. Xia Yun is worried that the Guoguang oil industry, with a development area of as much as 4000 hectares, will cause habitat loss, habitat blockage and estuarine ecosystem damage of Chinese white dolphins. It will deplete the ecology of the soil and become the ruins of the west coast, and Taiwan will shrink into an exhausted soul. [Xia Yun] the pace of parting of the reconnaissance team is getting heavier and heavier.

Experience: ideal, tears and love. The ideal is the sound of the waves in the intertidal zone of Fangyuan: all living beings are equal and all things are alive. Tears are dripping in the land of Erlin Acacia: people are in the native land, and their hearts are in the world. Life is actually very simple. The value of life lies in the practice of love.
