Guava, also known as guava, chicken sagittal fruit, pull seed, is one of the common fruits in the south, it is rich in nutrition, but also can treat diabetes, high blood pressure effect, more popular in the market. So what conditions do you need to grow guava? Let's take a look.

1. Soil requirements

Guava does not have high requirements for soil, but it is suitable to be planted in deep, loose and fertile sandy soil, so that plants will not only grow fast, but also produce many fruits with good quality. Although it can get a good yield when planted on clayey soil, it is necessary to take good drainage measures to avoid high groundwater level, thus affecting plant growth. If it is planted on sandy and gravelly soil that preserves water and fertilizer, it is necessary to do a good job of watering and fertilizing.

2. Temperature requirement

The suitable temperature for the growth of guava is between 23 and 28 degrees, and the vegetative growth begins at about 15 degrees. Generally, guava can be planted in areas where the monthly average temperature is above 15 degrees. It can withstand both cold and short-term high temperature environment, but it is afraid of frost and high temperature and drought for a long time. If the temperature is below 0 degrees, the young trees will freeze to death directly, while long-term high temperature is disadvantageous to the growth, flowering and fruit development of planting. At a suitable temperature, guava can shoot many times a year, grow and water.

3. Moisture requirement

Guava is tolerant to both drought and moisture. It is a fruit tree with a wide range of adaptability, but it still needs a certain amount of water to grow during its growth period. It is suitable for planting in areas with annual precipitation of 1000-2000 mm. In this area, it grows very fast. Once the precipitation is too large, it may lead to the decrease of sweetness and fruit taste when its fruit is ripe because of too much water. In addition, when flowering, too drought will lead to its falling flowers and affect its yield.

4. Lighting requirements

Guava likes the environment with sufficient light and can tolerate shade at the same time, but it grows faster in the environment with sufficient light, and the fruit is of good quality, so it can seize the market and expand benefits as soon as possible.
