Guava is commonly known as guava or extract, its nutritional value is extremely good, the fruit can treat diabetes and hypoglycemic effect, but also can prevent and cure hypertension, the effect is powerful. It is planted because of some environmental or pest factors, fruit growers bagging it, bagging can not only improve the brightness of the fruit, but also prevent the harm of diseases and insect pests. So when will guava be bagged? How to cover the bag? Let's take a look.

1. Bagging time

Guava bagging is generally one month after the fruit, when the vertical diameter of the young fruit reaches 3-4 cm and the fruit begins to droop, which is bagged at this time to achieve the best effect. If bagging is too early, the fruit is less, it is not easy to operate, and it is very easy to lead to physiological fruit drop of young fruit, resulting in bagging ineffective. If bagging is too late, the seedlings have grown to a certain extent, and bagging will often lose the meaning of bagging because the fruit has been harmed by insect pests.

2. Fruit thinning

The guava should be thinned before bagging. When thinning the fruit, the large and thick leaves leave more fruit, and vice versa, the average yield per mu of guava is about 2000 kg. Therefore, there are about 60 fruits per plant, generally speaking, one fruit is left on each fruit branch, while 2-3 fruit branches are left in the strong fruit branches, and one or all of the weak fruit branches are sparse. In addition, when thinning fruits, it is necessary to timely remove some abnormal fruits or fruits disturbed by diseases and insect pests, so as not to spread diseases and insect pests to other fruits.

3. Bagging choice

The material when bagging is also very important, it is recommended to choose double-layer polypropylene material, the inner layer is white foam mesh tube, the outer layer is 0.02 mm thick white transparent film bag. It should be noted that the foam net tube in the inner layer is best chosen to be 4 mm thick. If it is too thin, the insect will pierce the net tube and lay eggs directly in the fruit, resulting in bagging ineffective.

4. Bagging method

First of all, the sagging of the pedicel of the fruit is a spray, which can be treated with low concentration of methyl topiramate and fenvalerate EC solution, and wait for its natural air drying after spraying. First cover the inner foam mesh bag, and then cover the outer plastic film, close the net mouth and the bag mouth to the fruit handle and fasten it firmly to avoid falling off. finally, you can leave a small hole in the left, middle and right position at the bottom of the bag to leak water so as not to cause rotten fruit caused by stagnant water.
