Sand fruit is a kind of fruit which is very similar to apple, also known as Huahongguo, it is a variety of apple. Sand fruit is a very imaginative fruit because of its rich aroma, unique taste, high nutritional value and high medicinal price. It is rich in vitamins and organic fruit acids, with the role of Shengjin, digestion and eyesight. At the same time, it can also be used to stop dysentery and deworming. Mainly planted in Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Guizhou, Hubei and other places in China. Well, what we need to learn about today is the method of growing sand fruit. Let's take a look at it.

1. Garden land rectification and reform

Sand fruit is suitable for planting in sunny areas of hillsides and plains. The transportation near the garden should be convenient, the irrigation condition is good, close to the water source, the soil is slightly saline-alkali land, the nutrients are sufficient, there are wind and wind shelter around, and the sun is sufficient. There are two ways of land preparation, which can be divided into full reclamation and hole reclamation, but the most commonly used one is hole reclamation. Each hole is about 90 cm wide and 80 cm deep. After digging, a certain amount of base fertilizer is sprinkled into the hole, covering a thin layer of soil, waiting to be planted.

2. Seedling selection

The varieties of sand fruits suitable for planting in different regions are also different, and at present, the better varieties are K9, 123, Huang Taiping, Lingli, Daqiu and so on. We can choose the best varieties according to different conditions, of course, we can also be mixed with multiple varieties. On the other hand, the seedlings of sand fruit will generally choose seedlings ranging from 90 cm to 1.12 meters. among them, the roots of the seedlings are more developed, the lateral roots are relatively more, there are no damage, the surface is smooth, the hairs are less, and the water is more dry and dehydrated seedlings. The survival rate of such seedlings can be as high as 95%.

3. Scientific planting

Generally, sand fruit is planted according to the density of more than 40 plants per mu, the spacing between rows is generally six to nine meters, and the spacing between plants is about two meters. Secondly, if the variety selected is a small crown, then we can also plant according to the distance of four meters between rows and two meters between plants, and we can plant more than 80 plants per mu. At the same time, some areas can also use the specification of row spacing of three meters and plant spacing of two meters, planting more than 100 plants per mu. When planting, we should reasonably match pollination trees, generally according to the ratio of 2: 1 or 3: 1, which can improve the success rate of pollination and increase the yield of sand fruit.

4. Management methods

After planting, we should prune the branches and leaves reasonably, which can be pruned by the sparse layer shape of the small crown, the free spindle shape and the trunk cylinder of the three main branches at the base. Generally speaking, after planting, we need to dig holes around the trees every other year, change the soil, apply farm manure, soil manure and so on. Secondly, in May every year, the trees are covered with straw or withered straw and watered. Fertilization needs to be carried out according to different growth periods and soil fertility of sand fruit trees. during the period of young trees, nitrogen fertilizer is mainly used, while adult fruit trees need to be divided into four stages: budding stage, flowering stage, fruit stage and late fruit picking stage. and foliar fertilizer should be sprayed reasonably. Finally, it is necessary to combine mid-ploughing, watering and drainage to promote nutrient absorption so as to avoid consolidation of the land.

5. Disease and pest control

Sand fruit resistance is still relatively strong, generally few diseases and insect pests occur. But before the branches and leaves sprout every year, we need to spray a 5-degree stone sulfur mixture and thoroughly disinfect the orchard. Finally, we should be prepared to prevent pests, such as caterpillars, moths, floating dust and other pests, especially floating dust, will lay eggs on the branches in autumn, if not careful, it will do great harm to sand trees in the coming year. Then we can kill the eggs with sticks and spray omethoate or trichlorfon and other agents to control.

The sand fruit is actually very similar to the apple, except for the petite fruit, it is basically the same in other places.
