1. Soil

The soil or sand bed for propagation should be prepared before cutting propagation of Changchun vine. Generally, the soil with good ventilation and drainage is required. The basin soil can be made of garden soil, rotten leaf soil and slag. Pour a little water to keep the soil moist.

2. Season

Changchun vine cuttings are best selected in spring or early summer, when Changchun vines grow vigorously and branches thrive, which is conducive to the selection of perfect propagation branches.

3. Select branches

When cutting, you can choose the twigs with good growth of Catharanthus roseus, cut off about 8cm to 10cm. Trim the cut part well, cut off the extra leaves in the lower part, leaving only 2-3 pairs of leaves at the top.

4. Maintain the branches

Insert the treated Changchun vine into the prepared sand bed or soil, keep the soil slightly wet, water it on time, pay attention to cover, and take root 15-20 days after insertion.
