Qingyangshen is a kind of plant with high medicinal value, which has ideal economic value and is suitable for artificial planting. Like the humid and warm environment, there are more people planting in the south. Next, let's learn how to grow green sheep ginseng with the editor.

1. Nursery bed selection

The soil for the breeding of green sheep ginseng should be treated in advance before it can be planted. The soil should be decomposed in advance, mixed with some dry branches and leaves, compost with some livestock manure for a period of time, and then exposed to the sun for about 3 days. If the soil viscosity is heavy, it is best to mix some fine river sand to enhance permeability, and then put into the pre-selected seedling base to flatten the surface. Put the seeds into it, cover about 2 cm of soil, the surface should be covered with forage for heat preservation, there can be no direct sunlight.

2. Transplanting seedlings

The seedlings can be transferred 5-10 cm after emergence. The control distance of each seedling is about 40-50 cm. The seedling pit is put into rotten fertilizer in advance, and then the seedlings are put into it. Seedlings to be upright, conducive to later growth, the seedling pit should be higher than the surrounding soil, so that the initial buds can be properly insulated, the soil does not need to be compacted, slightly pressed. If the temperature is low, it can be properly covered with plastic sheeting or forage to protect against the low temperature at night.

3. Fertilizer and water treatment

After planting seedlings, it is necessary to properly irrigate some dung water so that it has enough nutrients in the initial stage. Topdressing in the later stage needs to be done according to time, and the seedlings of 1-2 years should be controlled at 1-2 months, with a small amount. The type of fertilizer-farm fertilizer is the best, followed by chemical fertilizer. The quantity of farm manure is controlled at about 2500 jin per mu, and the amount of chemical fertilizer is controlled at about 300jin per mu. After the seedling stage, fertilizing is controlled once a quarter, and the two periods of florescence and the month before flowering are topdressing in reverse order.

4. Field management

Due to the cultivation of green sheep ginseng for a long time, so its field management is mainly weeding, especially in the seedling stage, weeding once a month in the seedling stage, loosening the soil, which is conducive to the rapid growth of seedlings. If weeds grow vigorously in summer, they need to be more frequent. Clean up the dead seedlings directly and don't give them a chance to spread. If you are not sure about the timing of fertilization, you can top fertilize after each weeding. Every year before winter comes, we should prepare for the cold in advance so as not to freeze and damage the plants.

The above is the general process of planting Qingyang ginseng, which takes a long time. In order to promote the growth of its roots, growers can consider removing the flowers in the early stage, so that nutrients can be better concentrated in the roots.
