Black pigs have been domesticated in China for nearly 5000 years. Black pigs are different from domestic pigs. Black pigs grow slowly and weigh less, but they have high lean meat rate, delicious meat quality, delicate and juicy meat. It is a kind of pig breed with high economic value. Black pig mainly has a large breeding area in the northeast of China. However, breeding black pigs need to do a good job in daily management, the following editor will bring you the daily management methods of black pigs, let's take a look at it!

1. Feeding and management

There are certain requirements for the feeding of black pigs, and there are many kinds of feed for black pigs, but the proportion of nutrients in the feed should be increased as much as possible during artificial breeding. To ensure the robust growth of black pigs, improve the meat quality of black pigs, mainly corn flour, rice and all kinds of green grass leaves, not only meet the nutrition of black pig growth, but also effectively replenish water. However, when we feed black pigs, we should raise them separately according to their age and body size, so as to prevent them from grazing for food. We should pay attention to the amount of feed, can not feed too much, to prevent black pigs from eating too much leading to indigestion and gastrointestinal diseases.

2. Breeding management

During the period of estrus and mating of boars, in order to ensure continuous estrus, appropriate fruits and eggs can be added to the feed. Promote boar exercise, enhance boar physique, improve boar sperm motility, exercise time is controlled at about 30 minutes, when the temperature is too high should not exercise, avoid boar heatstroke. Observing the situation of the sow, it is found that when the genitals are red and swollen and accompanied by fluid, the sow is in estrus, which is ready to start the breeding work. A boar can mate with multiple sows, and the mating time is controlled at about 24 hours, and in order to improve the fertilization rate of sows, the second mating should be carried out 10-12 hours later.

3. Pregnancy management

The gestation period of sows is about 4 months, and sows at this stage are relatively fragile, so we need to strengthen management, improve the proportion of feed nutrition, and promote the development of embryos. In the early stage of production, our management is mainly to protect the fetus, to prevent pregnant pigs from being squeezed and collided, should be kept in isolation, fatter sows should reduce their food intake, and less fat should be added to the feed to increase the proportion of concentrate. To do a good job in piglet management after production, it is necessary to increase the amount of feed, restore the physical strength of sows, supplement the nutrition lost due to production, ensure normal feeding and improve the survival rate of piglets.

4. Pig house hygiene

Pig house hygiene is very important for black pigs. We should disinfect it regularly in the process of breeding. We must clean the pig house and clean up pig manure every day. Do a good job of vaccination, regular deworming and gastric lavage for black pigs. And to strengthen the temperature and humidity management of the pig house, the suitable growth temperature of black pigs is about 20 degrees, and the humidity should be maintained at about 58%. If it is not well managed, it is easy to cause stress reactions in black pigs, such as heatstroke, water shortage and so on. Therefore, while we do a good job in pig house hygiene, we should also do a good job in temperature and humidity and other aspects of work to create a good environment for the growth of black pigs.

The above is a brief introduction to the daily management methods of black pig farming. There is a little difference between black pig breeding and domestic pig breeding. We cannot use the method of raising domestic pigs to raise black pigs, otherwise it may lead to some unexpected problems. That's all for today's introduction. This article is for reference only.
