In the face of the dispute over the retention or abolition of nuclear power plants and the trend of rising electricity prices, what else can ordinary people do besides taking to the streets to express their feelings and go home to pay their electricity bills? The recently established "one person kilowatt Social Enterprise" promotes household solar photovoltaic devices. As long as it invests NT $100,000, it becomes a shareholder, distributes 2% of the stock profit every year, and can also contribute to Taiwan's energy independence.
Every kilowatt-hour of electricity is invested and decided by citizens.
