A mumbled angrily: "B is young enough to pick my zongye." The mother-in-law in the village asked B about it, but B solemnly replied, "if you see it on the mountain, you will cut it. Who knows whose it is?" An even better, touched his nose and ran to cut the leaves of C's rice dumplings.

Chinese fir forest guests call zongye, that is, peach leaf.

This is because you can't bask in the sun and put it in the refrigerator.

A postscript of a somewhat complaining nature

Not long ago, I heard from a friend that one of the leaders of the new residents scolded the former district office official for not building a Chinese fir forest properly. Jiaxian had taro, Qishan had bananas, Meinung had tomato paper umbrellas, six turtles had mangoes. Cunninghamia lanceolata has no characteristics at all, saying that if flying umbrellas are good, there will be hot air balloons and so on. I have no problem with the front, but it's intuitive and ridiculous to listen to the latter! Cunninghamia lanceolata forest is a simple countryside, it has a unique idle temperament, suitable for old-age migration, but not suitable for transformational King Kong. Even if there is a hot air balloon or other commercial construction, it should be planned by the residents spontaneously and slowly, rather than relying on a huge budget to bring tourism with destructive construction. It is not a cedar forest at all, and more accurately, the cedar people are unable to participate in it, so in fact, no matter whether they are old residents or new immigrants, they will not benefit much from the construction of officials, except those in power.

Every Hakka rice dumpling, our earth pumpkin, red child papaya, towel gourd and other fruit products in our fir forest represent the indelible local value of Chinese fir forest. it's just that our ancestors chose not to magnify the life and culture of the fir forest, or not to over-commercialize the place where I grew up. The Chinese fir farmers of small families only want to smoothly hand over their agricultural products to the peasant association or the mouth of the bank, farm their fields to support their families, and then live a good life. They do not have much ambition to develop tourism, and they also want to protect their homeland, just because young people have emigrated abroad and the population is aging seriously. looking back, they are no longer able to maintain tradition or beautify their homeland, so they look even more desperate and withered in the eyes of outsiders.

But the things that people don't care about are still staged in our village every day and night. As long as the season comes, we cedar people cut down and boil Puzi, sun cabbage, pickled cabbage, boiled rice dumplings and wrapped rice dumplings. Do everything by yourself. Shanlin people transport and sell their agricultural products to other places, but they are not willing to sell their specialty vegetables outside, so Yuetao rice dumplings in Shanlin have a good relationship with the farmers before asking if they have a chance to share food.

Generally speaking, Yuetao rice dumplings in Shanlin retain a good taste that can not be eaten anywhere else! After all, this is my purest childhood memory. Rather than selling fir forests in Kaohsiung, it is better to say that farmers are trying to remember them.
