With the listing of New Beidong Tea, Mayor Zhu Lilun attended a press conference on New Beihao Tea organized by the Agriculture Bureau yesterday (19). He said that the annual output of tea in New Taipei City is 400 tons, with an output value of about 1.1 billion yuan. It is not only the birthplace of Wenshan tea, but also the largest tea producing area. Its output, quality and technology are the highest in the country. People are invited to visit the tea garden and taste good tea.
Mayor Chu Lilun said that New Taipei City is one of the largest tea producing areas in Taiwan, with tea areas all over Pinglin, Xindian, Shenkeng, Shiting, and so on. Through the "New North Haocha" to integrate local tea areas, and under the vigorous promotion of the farmers' association, it is made in accordance with the safest and strictest standards, so that consumers can drink with peace of mind, so that "New North Haocha" is not only a brand, but also a quality guarantee.
This year's winter tea has two important features, one is "local production", and the other is "real kungfu good tea". Mayor Zhu Lilun said that old tea masters in New Taipei do not hide themselves and let their tea skills be passed on from generation to generation, and young people are taught by old masters. Therefore, since 1949, New Taipei City has won the "bar group championship of the national tea-making technology competition" eight times in a row. The quality is absolutely trustworthy.
The "Winter Tea Exhibition" was held next to the Pinglin Tea Museum for two consecutive weekends on December 1, 2, 8 and 9. At the same time, a limited number of commemorative tea boxes and various experience activities were launched. The Hope Square next to Taipei MRT Shandao Temple is also available. The Agriculture Bureau encourages the public to support good brands and recognize "New North Haocha" when buying, which is not only a guarantee of quality and peace of mind, but also the greatest encouragement to tea farmers.
