Persimmons are fruits that ripen and appear on the market in autumn. Every autumn, persimmon trees are covered with yellow persimmons, making people cannot help but swallow. Persimmon branch persimmon is a deciduous tree, also known as Zhu Guo, monkey jujube, in addition to direct consumption, it also has a certain nutritional value. Fresh persimmons are de-astringent and can be stored for months after treatment. for example, common persimmons are often given to relatives and friends during the holidays. So how to plant persimmon trees? Let's get to know it.

1. Growth habits

Persimmon is a deep-rooted plant, or a positive tree species, like a warm and humid climate, its environmental adaptability is strong, not only can withstand drought, but also can withstand moisture in time. So planting is very simple and easy to manage, as long as you choose a plot with sufficient light, loose and fertile soil and good drainage, it will grow fast.

2. Planting

Persimmon trees generally choose grafting propagation, commonly used bud grafting and branch grafting, bud grafting is generally carried out in persimmon flowering or summer and autumn, after grafting should pay attention to tie the support stick, so as not to break the seedlings by the wind. After grafting to cultivate strong seedlings, planting requires reasonable close planting from defoliation in autumn to sprouting in spring, pay attention to the distance between plants, too dense will attract flowering and fruiting, too sparse and waste land utilization.

3. Fertilizer and water management

When planting, rotten farm manure can be applied as base fertilizer to improve nutrients for the growth of seedlings and make them pass through the seedling stage quickly. In the peak growing season from May to June, the roots and branches grow a little stronger, so it is necessary to apply fertilizer in time to provide nutrition for growth. Generally, for 1-2-year-old young plants, 20 grams of pure nitrogen fertilizer, 10 grams of calcium superphosphate and 20 grams of available fertilizer are generally applied, while the amount of fertilizer applied to 3-5-year-old plants is one to two times that of 1-2-year-old plants. The adult plants that have begun to bear fruit are topdressing 4 kg of pure nitrogen fertilizer, 4 kg of calcium superphosphate and 4 kg of potassium chloride. When applying fertilizer, the young trees should be ditched at the edge of the plant, so as not to cause root burning, and should be watered in time during drought, and if the soil is flooded after the rainy season, it should be drained in time.

4. Pruning and clearing the garden

In order to make the young trees form a crown as soon as possible, make them grow strong, blossom and bear more fruit, so pruning is also inevitable, pruning is mainly to promote its branches, and the best time is generally after defoliation. Pruning off its withered branches, too many branches and fewer branches, so as not to waste the necessary nutrients, so that more nutrients can be transported to the fruiting branches, and the suitable tree type can also be pruned according to the growing environment. Clearing the garden in winter is an important task, which is related to the flowering and fruiting of the coming year. Pruning should remove diseased fruits, diseased stems, dead branches and fallen leaves, and clean up the sources of overwintering diseases and insect pests so as to reduce the harm of diseases and insect pests in the coming year.
