Bamboo shoots are perennial herbs of Labiatae family. The main edible parts of bamboo shoots are tender stems and leaves. Its tender stems and leaves can be used for cold dressing, frying and so on. Rhizome also has the effect of activating blood circulation to remove blood stasis, promoting water and detumescence, etc. It is a plant with high nutritional value. At present, the planting area of bamboo shoots in China is relatively large, but there are also many people who want to plant but do not know how to plant them. Today, Xiaobian brought you the planting technology of bamboo shoots. Let's have a look together!

1. Timely sowing

There are two ways of sowing ground bamboo shoots: rhizome planting and sowing planting. When the rhizome is planted, the tender rhizome is selected at the time of harvest and cut into small sections of about 12 cm, and then the planting density is controlled and planted in time. Put about three sections of rhizomes into each planting hole, cover them with soil and press them, then irrigate them with enough water to promote germination. If sowing and planting, we should do a good job of seed collection. We should drill before and after Qingming Festival. Just like root planting, we should cover soil and suppress it in time after sowing. However, the germination rate of sowing and planting is not high, only about 55%, the soil temperature is controlled at about 18 degrees, about 9 days can germinate.

2. Field management

Seedling management should be done well after sowing and emergence. In seedling stage, attention should be paid to intertillage and weeding to promote seedling growth and improve survival rate. When the seedlings grow to about 32 cm, close the ridge in time, and stop weeding after closing the ridge, but pay attention to watering in time to ensure that the soil is in a wet state. And in the process of growth according to the growth of seedlings and soil fertilizer content timely topdressing, the first topdressing should be in the seedlings about 12 cm, and then in the first harvest after topdressing. Fertilizer can use decomposed farm manure, continuous planting for more than two years, the plant is more lush, then should be turned over to prevent the occurrence of pests.

3. Pest control

There is a certain incidence of diseases and insect pests, common diseases and insect pests are rust and wild borer. Whether it is disease or pest, if not treated in time, it will pose a great threat to the growth of plants. We must take precautions to prevent any pests from occurring, because once they occur, they will certainly cause losses. After harvest, we should do a good job in clearing the garden, cleaning up the sick branches between the gardens, tilling the land for disinfection, reducing overwintering eggs and germs, and reducing the incidence rate. Take timely measures after the disease, such as rust can be controlled by using sodium rust mixed washing powder.

4. Timely harvest

The specific harvest time of ground bamboo shoots depends on the planting time. According to the normal sowing time, the harvest is generally in summer and autumn of each year. In summer and autumn, the bamboo shoots are dense, and the whole grass on the ground should be collected in time before flowering. And we also decide the harvest time according to the planting area, for example, in the south, it is generally harvested after Qingming Festival, and the ground bamboo shoots can grow continuously, usually at least twice a year. However, if it is a planting plot with roots as planting direction and seed stems, it is not allowed to harvest the above-ground parts, otherwise it will not grow again.

The above is a simple introduction to the planting technology of ground bamboo shoots. After harvesting, cut them off and spread them on the ground to dry. After harvesting, wash the surface soil and dry the water. Otherwise, it is not easy to store, it is easy to rot during storage, reduce quality, and produce some unnecessary losses.
