Blue indigo fruit also known as sheep milk, black blind fruit, etc., it is a rare, pure natural edible berries, taste sweet and sour palatable, rich, can be eaten raw, but also provide pigment, can also make wine, do drinks and jam, edible value is extremely high. In addition, it has a very high nutritional value, can not have the effect of clearing away heat and detoxification, but also can reduce blood pressure, improve blood cell tree, treatment of infantile anorexia. So how does it grow? Let's get to know each other.

1. Land selection and preparation

Choose sufficient light, irrigation convenience, flat or gentle slope planting can be, should choose loose fertile, good drainage sandy loam or sandy soil planting, pH value is best between 4.5-7.5. In order to facilitate management and harvest sales during cultivation, it is best to plant in an area with convenient transportation. Before planting, the soil will be deeply ploughed and matured, weeds and residual plants will be removed, and decomposed organic fertilizer will be applied during ploughing to improve soil properties and increase soil nutrients, so that plants will have sufficient nutrients to grow and develop.

2. Reproduction

The propagation methods of indigo fruit include sowing, cuttage and plant division. When sowing, the ripe fruit will be picked and the seeds will be taken out and stored in wet sand. After the next year, choose fertile soil, good drainage zone sowing, general cultivation after two years can be afforestation. Cuttings generally begin when the temperature rises to more than 15 degrees in spring, select the branches of the mother plant that year as cuttings, apply rooting powder at the base and cut them in fertile land, and cultivate them for 2-3 years. Indigo fruit germination differentiation is very strong, so plant propagation is, after selecting a good root strip, it can be planted in fertile soil, survival rate as high as 95%.

3. Planting

When planting, select the seedlings cultivated by improved varieties, and require the seedlings to grow strongly, the roots to be developed, and the buds to be full. The seedlings with a height of more than 25cm and a main root length of more than 25cm are preferred. Generally, the indigo tree cluster can be as high as 1.5-2 meters, and the crown width can reach 2-2.5 meters. Therefore, in order to maintain the ventilation and light transmittance among the plants, the row spacing of the plants should be controlled at 4×4 meters. Generally, more than 600 planting holes are dug per hectare, and it is appropriate to fix plants in each hole, and the plant spacing between plants is controlled at 20×20cm. When planting, the seedlings should be righted, the soil covered should be stepped on, and the water should be poured once after planting, so that vigorous growth can be formed as soon as possible.

4. Garden management

After planting and survival, water frequently to keep the soil moisture content above 40%, meet the plant's demand for water, and drain water in time if there is water in the soil. Blue indigo fruit like fertilizer, but more sensitive to chemical fertilizer, so try to apply fertilizer farm manure, avoid using chemical fertilizer, in order to maintain the purity of green fruit food. After planting, according to the soil and weed conditions in the field, intertill and weed 2-3 times a year to promote the growth of plant roots. Indigo germination force, in order to increase the new branches of the plant cluster, to its stubble cutting, to promote its germination of new branches.
