Astragalus mandshurica is a kind of leguminous herb, which is an important medicine for the treatment of male diseases. Generally used for the treatment of kidney deficiency, spermatorrhea, premature ejaculation, etc., but also has the role of nourishing the liver and eyesight. Astragalus mongolicus has a long history of planting and use. at present, it is mainly planted in Northeast and North China, Henan, Shaanxi and other areas. How to plant Astragalus mongolicus? Now let's learn how to grow it.

1. Select land for farming

Astragalus adsurgens has the characteristics of cool, light, drought, salt and alkali tolerance and strong adaptability. It does not have high requirements for the soil of the planting land, and generally wild Astragalus mongolicus grows on hillsides, roadsides, riversides, grasslands and so on, so it shows that basically all the soil of Astragalus mongolicus can be planted. However, if you want high yield, then the sandy loam with relatively fertile soil and convenient drainage and irrigation is the most suitable. Turn the land deeply, clean up the weeds in the field, and then fertilize according to the renewal amount of 2,000 to 3,000 kg per mu, mainly organic fertilizer, supplemented with appropriate amount of phosphate and potash fertilizer. Finish the border, level the ground, and then you can sow the seeds.

2. Methods of reproduction

Astragalus adsurgens is mainly propagated with seeds. Two seasons of farming can generally be carried out in most parts of our country, that is, from the end of March to the end of April in spring and from the end of August to the end of September in autumn. The seeds are usually sown by strip sowing, with a spacing of about 30 to 35 centimeters between rows and a depth of about three to five centimeters, then pour each strip thoroughly with water, and finally spread the seeds evenly into the strips, covered with a thin layer of soil to cover the seeds.

3. Field management

The temperature in the field is controlled at about 15 degrees after sowing, and seedlings can generally emerge in about 15 days. Before emergence, we should properly water the seedlings, which will help to promote the emergence speed of Astragalus mongolicus, usually every three days or so. After the emergence of seedlings, we have to see who watered the number of times and the amount of water, so as to prevent the growth of Astragalus mongolicus. When the seedlings are dirty to ten centimeters high, we have to interplant, evenly and replenish the seedlings. Generally, it is planted according to the distance of each plant, leaving two or three strong seedlings in each hole. Drainage should be carried out in time in the rainy season, and fertilizer should be used scientifically at different growth stages of Astragalus mongolicus. In the growing period and flowering period, feces and urine are the main water, and barnyard manure is the main one in the green period, which needs to be fertilized at least four times a year.

4. Disease and pest control

Astragalus adsurgens has strong resistance and few diseases and insect pests occur. At present, the most common diseases and insect pests of Astragalus mongolicus are powdery mildew and golden needle worm. Powdery mildew mainly harms the stems and leaves of Astragalus complanatus, while Golden Needle worms mainly harm the roots of Astragalus complanatus. We can prevent it by cleaning and disinfecting the garden. at the same time, we can use methyl thiazine to control powdery mildew and spread lead phosphate to solve the golden needle worm in the early stage of the disease.
