How to raise quails at different stages
Presumably everyone is no stranger to the term quail, especially quail eggs, which are currently popular health eggs on the market. Now more and more artificial breeding quail, raising up is also very simple, but different periods, quail breeding methods also have certain differences, I believe many people do not understand. Today, follow the small series to understand specifically.
1. Quail chicks
Quail chicks are quails that have just hatched and have not yet adapted to the external environment, and their nervous system and various physiological functions have not yet fully developed. This quail is very weak, and if breeding management is not in place, the mortality rate is extremely high. First of all, we need to do a good job of heat preservation. The temperature in the breeding house should generally be kept at a high temperature of only 35 to 38 degrees Celsius. After that day, we can lower it by half a degree every day. When the temperature drops to 25 degrees Celsius, we stop cooling. Quails generally need to be supplemented within 24 hours after hatching, and they start eating after drinking water. During this period of time, feed at least six to eight times a day, and at the same time, do not stop feeding water to ensure sufficient water in the breeding room. Finally, it is also necessary to pay attention to the light jujube market in the breeding room, generally at least 14 hours, so it is necessary to use fluorescent lamps for lighting.
2. Young quail
Quail chicks need to molt when they turn into young quails. This is the quail in the physiological function, digestive system and other aspects of the slow recovery, so this stage of the most important task is to control the quail weight, and do a good job of immunity. The duration of light in the breeding room can be reduced to about twelve hours. At the same time, a small amount of fodder can be fed, and it is mainly coarse fodder. However, if it is meat quail for sale, it needs to be mainly concentrated fodder for fattening.
3, into quail
Adult quail chicks are mature in all aspects, and what we have to do is fatten them or say that they quickly enter the laying period. And in improving quail immunity at the same time day high quail laying rate, then our breeding is basically tending to normal. Basically feed three to four times a day, do seagull epidemic prevention work, clean up the sanitation of the breeding room, and regularly disinfect. In the evening when it is necessary to also need to supplement, so that you can quickly fattening quail.
4. Laying quail
The grouping management of laying quail is somewhat different from that of the previous grouping. We need to control the number of male and female quails reasonably so as not to disturb their reproductive ability. During this period, we mainly want to be able to produce high-quality eggs and increase the production of quail eggs. Therefore, we should reasonably configure the feed according to this characteristic. This is the daily feeding standard. We need to add new feed four to five times a day. The trough and sink should be cleaned every day, and the temperature in the breeding room should be controlled between fifteen and thirty degrees Celsius. During the laying season, the duration of light in the breeding room should reach 15 to 16 hours. Moreover, no other creatures could appear and disturb them, so as not to affect the laying situation.
Quail breeding is very simple, but in the breeding time we need to divide the different growth stages to carry on the breeding, so that the breeding quail can have high yield and high quality. I believe that everyone has a general understanding of quail breeding. If you still have better breeding techniques for quail at different stages, you can find a small editor to share them together.
