Kamiyama Town is a rural settlement located in the center of Tokushima Prefecture. It was once neglected. Now, with the promotion of Japan's local creation policy, this quiet rural settlement attracts the attention of immigrants and becomes the hope of many declining villages in Japan. It has won the recognition of the "Local Creation Award" of Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, and has become a classic example of promoting local creation in Japan.
Last Friday (November 26), under the arrangement of Nomura Research Consultants in Taiwan, a group of people went to Tainan Zuozhen to meet with Shinya Oonami, president of Green Vally, a local non-profit public welfare organization in Kamiyama, Japan, to ask him about his experience in promoting relocation in Kamiyama, Tokushima Prefecture.
After 30 years of hard work, Shenshan Town first started from culture and art, to attract entrepreneurs to move in, renovate the empty houses on the ground, provide design workers to work and live here, encourage technology companies to set up remote offices here, invite "high-value jobs" to come in, create new "services", and then bring gold flow through tourism, realize the economic cycle within the region, and achieve the goal of independent development. It is worth Taiwan's reference.
