How to raise longevity flowers
Longevity flower, also known as "Christmas cabbage", is very popular in China because of the symbolic meaning of its name, so it is planted by the majority of farmers. However, planting longevity flowers is a more exquisite project, and some farmers often choose to give up because the planting is not ideal. So how to raise longevity flowers to burst the pot? Let's get to know it with Xiaobian.
1. Targeted selection of soil
The root system of longevity flowers is a main root with a number of fine roots, so the air permeability of the soil is relatively high, generally more viscous soil can not feed longevity flowers, it is best to deploy their own soil. First select the soil to be used for planting, then mix it with some organic manure and compost for about 2 weeks. Then prepare about 1/3 of the fine sand to mix evenly, and then transplant it to the flower shed base. Turn the soil again a week before planting to see how permeable the soil is, and if the viscosity is high, it will continue to increase the river sand.
2. Periodic daylighting
For daylighting is also fastidious, in order to facilitate daylighting, the flower shed should be transparent. Daylighting is between 8am and 11:30 every day, and then the noon sun is obscured, and the shielding can be removed to continue daylighting after 02:30. Farmers should ensure that the sun shines evenly in the flower shed, otherwise the lighting of a certain point will be too long or be exposed to strong light, which will lead to stunted development of longevity flowers.
3. Rational fertilization
The absorptive capacity of longevity flowers is relatively poor, coupled with the initial allocation of soil has been composting, so until the later transplant into the pot for sale, do not need to add a lot of fertility. The topdressing was controlled at 2 weeks after seedling emergence and about 10 days at flowering stage. If you want its flower to grow luxuriantly, mind adding a certain amount of potash fertilizer during the flowering period, so that farmers can sell it at a better price.
4. Rational watering
Pay attention to the amount of water when watering, many farmers have too much watering lead to rotten roots. Watering at the initial stage of seedling emergence is controlled at once a week, and the florescence is controlled at about 7-10 days. Basically maintain the soil moisture and feel a little wetting when touching the soil layer with your hands. A mixture of drip irrigation and spray should be used in summer, which can effectively ensure the beauty of flowers in the hot summer.
If raised in the above way, then under normal circumstances, the appearance is good, you can learn from it. General flowers are relatively fragile. I hope that the majority of farmers can bear this in mind and inspect the flower sheds more when they are in bloom, so as to make better profits for themselves.
