How to prevent and cure the phenomenon of "dry heartburn" in Chinese cabbage
Dried cabbage with heartburn
Chinese cabbage dry heartburn is also known as rotten skin, there is no abnormal appearance, but the internal ball leaves deteriorate, can not be eaten, consumers lose a lot. Due to root dysfunction or other reasons, calcitonin can not be transported to the growing leaf tip, resulting in physiological disorders. In order to avoid the occurrence of dry heartburn and improve the yield and quality of Chinese cabbage, in addition to selecting disease-resistant varieties, reasonable crop rotation and suitable sowing time, the following measures should be taken:
1. adequate manuring. The base fertilizer is dominated by organic fertilizer and supplemented by chemical fertilizer. 4000-5000 kg of rotten organic fertilizer, 50 kg of superphosphate, 15 kg of potassium sulfate and a small amount of urea were applied per mu to increase the content of soil organic matter, improve soil structure and promote the healthy growth of plants. At the same time, we should choose plots with flat land, loose soil and good drainage, and try not to choose low-lying saline-alkali land. The water is watered evenly and the water quality is not polluted. Lime should be added to acid soil to adjust soil pH.
two。 Water properly. During the growth period, the water supply of Chinese cabbage should be uniform, timely watering should be carried out in case of drought, small water irrigation should be carried out to make the soil not dry or waterlogged, and after irrigation, the soil should be ploughed and loosened in time to prevent consolidation, improve soil structure and prevent the rise of salt and alkali. Do not flood irrigation, so as not to damage the root system in the field and hinder absorption. In particular, the rosette period should pay attention to the changes of soil moisture, Rain Water years should be appropriate ploughing, drainage.
3. Proper calcium supplement. Foliar spraying calcitonin fertilizer can not only promote the growth and improve the quality of Chinese cabbage, but also effectively prevent the occurrence of "dry heartburn" of Chinese cabbage. Usually starting from the rosette stage of Chinese cabbage, 0.7% calcium chloride and 50ppm naphthylacetic acid or 1% calcium superphosphate solution is sprayed on the heart leaves every 7-10 days. When applying, pay attention to concentrate spraying on the heart leaves, spray 3-5 times in a row.
4. Supplement manganese fertilizer. It can be foliar sprayed with 0.1% potassium permanganate solution or 0.1% manganese sulfate solution at rosette stage, once every 7 days, even 2-3 times, or mixed with calcitonin.
5. Pay attention to the choice of crop. When planting Chinese cabbage, continuous cropping with cabbage, tomato and other crops with large calcium absorption should be avoided. If serious navel rot is found in tomato fruiting period, it means that there is a serious lack of calcium in this area, and it is best not to plant Chinese cabbage or supplement calcium fertilizer in autumn stubble.
