planting edible fungi

When planting edible fungi, under the condition of strengthening the normal management of mushroom bed, some special methods can have better yield increase effect, mushroom farmers may wish to try.

1. Application of drugs: When preparing edible mushroom culture medium, appropriate amount of sulfate (calcium sulfate or magnesium sulfate), phosphate (calcium superphosphate or potassium dihydrogen phosphate) and vitamin B1 are added. In the late stage of mycelium growth, 0.1-0.2 mg/L triacontanol is sprayed on the culture medium surface, which can promote the growth of mushrooms and fruiting bodies. Generally, the yield can be increased by about 15%.

2, hole filling sand: in the edible fungi bed material surface hole filling sand, that is, when sowing with a diameter of 1.5 cm, length of 30 cm conical stick, according to horizontal and vertical row are 30 cm specifications in plum blossom hole, deep to the bottom of the material, two days later to fill the hole with yellow sand (with 1% potassium permanganate solution soaking disinfection), fill 0.5-1 cm higher than the material surface, at the same time inject 0.3-0.5% lime water into the hole. The method can improve the air permeability of the mushroom bed, improve the water retention performance of the material surface, can produce mushrooms 3-4 days ahead of time, evenly distribute the mushroom buds, and have large flesh thickness, and the production efficiency can be increased by more than 25%.

3, pressure stimulation: with old newspaper, sacks, fine soil, etc. covered in edible fungi culture surface, through pressure stimulation and heat preservation moisture, can promote rapid growth of hyphae. This method can generally increase production by about 15%.

4. Stick contact: Insert sterilized small sticks (1 cm in diameter and 3 cm in length) into edible fungus culture medium, 2 cm deep and 15×15 cm in density. When mycelium grows and spreads to touch small sticks, it can wrap around them to form uniform and dense mycelium, and develop into mushroom buds and fruiting bodies. This method can generally increase production by about 20%.

5. Scratch bacteria and promote bud: After the fungus is full of hyphae, gently sweep back and forth on the material surface with a clean bamboo broom to remove or destroy the old hyphae on the surface. After exposing new hyphae, spray water and cover film to keep moisture and keep warm in time, and bud can appear in about 7 days. This method can not only promote early fruiting, but also increase production by about 10%.
