Many vegetable farmers are very distressed, originally thought that greenhouse cucumbers to fill the vacancy of cucumbers in spring will have good benefits, but the greenhouse cucumbers in their vegetable fields do not bear melons, which link has gone wrong with the management. Today, the editor will introduce to you the reasons why cucumbers do not bear melons in the greenhouse and their prevention and control methods.

Greenhouse cucumber

I. the cause of occurrence

1. There are many melons in production. All the cucumbers that can sit are left behind, and the extra female flowers are not removed.

2. Improper fertilization. Excessive use of compound fertilizer increased the concentration of soil solution for planting cucumber, weakened the absorption capacity of cucumber roots, and affected the normal growth of cucumber plants.

3. Overdose. The vast majority of vegetable farmers only pay attention to chemical prevention and control of insect pests, but ignore agricultural measures, excessive use of fungicides, short interval between drugs, serious concentration exceeding the standard, resulting in drug damage, coupled with the blind use of hormone pesticides, resulting in physiological disorders of cucumbers. Cucumbers naturally can not grow normally.

4. Improper watering. Regardless of the weather conditions, they are not blindly watered according to the growth law of cucumbers. If continuous overcast days, strong cold currents and low temperatures are encountered after watering, when the ground temperature is below 12 ℃ and the soil relative humidity exceeds 85%, cucumbers are easy to rett their roots, and once the root growth of cucumbers is inhibited, cucumbers will not bear fruit because of insufficient nutrition supply.

5. The harvest is not timely. In order to wait for the high price, the already grown cucumbers are left on the melon seedlings, resulting in "falling seedlings". The result is that it breaks the balance between vegetative growth and reproductive growth and consumes too much organic nutrition in cucumber plants.

II. Preventive measures

1. Fall the vine properly. The low falling vine of cucumber is not conducive to the normal growth of cucumber. After falling the vine, the height of the cucumber plant is maintained at about 1.5 meters, which ensures that there are more than 15 functional leaves on the cucumber plant, which can maintain normal photosynthesis and normal growth.

2. Pay attention to thinning flowers and fruits. For cucumber plants with more melons, it is necessary to sparse melons properly and leave them without seeing melons, otherwise it is easy to cause cucumber seedlings to rest in the middle and later stages. The yellowing leaves at the bottom should be removed in time to reduce consumption.

3. The light management of cucumber should be strengthened in continuous overcast days. When it is cloudy and close to noon, pull the grass away and let the wind blow for 2 hours properly, the temperature in the shed will increase by 2 ℃ instead. After it suddenly clears up on a cloudy day, you can't uncover all the grass suddenly. You should "uncover the flowers" so as not to cause "flashing seedlings".

4. Pay attention to fertilizer and water management. When the temperature is low and the light is weak, watering cucumbers should not be too diligent. generally, it is OK to water cucumbers every 20 days or so. It should also be noted that after watering, cucumbers should wait for the temperature in the shed to rise to more than 30 ℃ before they can be released, and the vents should be from small to large, and excessive one-time ventilation is easy to cause flashing seedlings. Fertilizers should be applied with water, and fertilizers containing humic acid or amino acids should be applied appropriately because they are easily absorbed by cucumbers.

5. strengthen the prevention and control of diseases. Due to the untimely release, cucumber is very prone to drug damage after spraying in the greenhouse, so it is necessary to strictly control the concentration of pesticides and not to mix a variety of pesticides to reduce the occurrence of drug damage.
