Ginger planting
1. Crop rotation: crop rotation is an important way to cut off the transmission of germs in soil. practice has proved that the disease-free ginger is used in rotation for more than 4 years, combined with fine management to effectively control ginger rot.
Second, use disease-free ginger species: before harvest, select strong ginger plants with strong growth, many branches and no disease symptoms, harvest and store separately; before planting in the second year, ginger with bacteria should be strictly selected and eliminated.
Third, land selection and preparation: select sandy soil with high topography and good drainage as ginger fields. When preparing the ground, the ground should be flat, the ginger ditch should not be too long, 15-20 meters should be appropriate. In order to prevent stagnant water in the field, Jiang Tian should set up drainage ditches.
Fourth, apply clean fertilizer: the fertilizer used in the ginger field should be free from germs as far as possible. Therefore, the self-made soil fertilizer and organic fertilizer must be fully mature before it can be used.
Fifth, pour clean water: it is best to use well water to irrigate ginger fields to prevent water pollution, and it is strictly forbidden to throw infected plants into canals or wells. When watering, control the amount of water, must not flood irrigation.
6. root out the diseased plant in time: after discovering the diseased plant, you should eradicate it in time, remove the healthy plant within 0.5 meters around the infected ginger plant, dig out the soil with bacteria, sprinkle disinfectant such as lime or bleaching powder in and around the disease hole, then bury it with aseptic soil, and change the watering channel in time.
7. Chemical control: (1) before breaking ginger, soak the seeds with 40% formalin or 30% copper oxychloride for 6 hours, or soak the seeds with 1 ∶ 1 ∶ 100 Bordeaux solution for 20 minutes. (2) in the early stage of the disease, the diseased plants were removed in time, and then irrigated with 5% copper sulfate solution or 5% bleaching powder or 72% agricultural streptomycin soluble powder. (3) foliar spraying 1300 times of 20% Yekuning solution, or 30% copper oxychloride solution, or 1 ∶ 1 ∶ Bordeaux spray, once every 10 to 15 days, for 2 times in a row, can effectively control the continued occurrence of ginger rot.
