Honeybee breeding

Feed solution: every box of bees must leave 5-8 kilograms of over-summer honey. If there is a shortage of honey, bees can be fed with artificial mixed feed. The formula is: 200 grams of watermelon juice, 70 grams of tomato juice, 100 grams of sugar, 20 grams of soybean powder, 15 grams of milk powder, 10 grams of salt, 10 grams of yeast slices (milling powder), 50 grams of cold boiled water, mix well and feed in dry weather and lack of honey.

Prevention and control of bee mites: bee mites are the great enemy of honeybees in the summer. If they are not prevented in time, the colony will be weakened if it is light and will be destroyed if it is heavy. You can choose to spray 1 ∶ 50 insecticidal mite solution with a miniature sprayer in the morning or evening, or sprinkle the sulfur powder wrapped in gauze on the beehive beam, or you can spray 25% chlorpromazine aqueous solution into 3000 times water, which is economical and effective.

Prevent summer decline: hot summer, honeybee labor intensity, greatly shorten the life span, less queen bee spawning, honeybee colony showed a downward trend. If there is a slight mismanagement, the number of bees will drop to less than 40%, unable to produce royal jelly. The new king can be used to lay eggs, expand the egg circle and speed up the breeding of new bees. Choose ventilation, put bees in the shade, or cover the beehive with grass curtains to prevent the sun from causing an increase in the nest temperature and making the bees uneasy. Enlarge the nest door to make the air circulate. When the weather is too hot, you can sprinkle cold water outside the beehive and feed cold boiled water. For the crowded colony, add the relay box early, increase the nest spleen, nest erection, expand the beehive, and use the young queen bee to produce royal jelly.

Reward feeding: reward feeding to improve queen bee spawning and worker bee parenting enthusiasm. Every evening, when the temperature is low, feed the bees dilute syrup. In order to prevent alarm bees, self-made rectangular shallow plate can be put into the beehive for feeding. If there is not enough material in the nest, you should first feed it with thick pulp, and then reward it day by day. In addition, pesticide poisoning should be prevented.
