Fattening intensity and difficulty of Black Goat intensive fattening Technology of Big Black Goat
Black goat lambs in lactation period are the most intensive and difficult to raise in their life. If they are not careful, they will affect the development and constitution of black goats, increase the morbidity and mortality of black goat lambs, and cause great losses to black goat breeding production.

Montenegrin lambs mainly rely on breast milk for nutrition in early lactation. When breast milk is sufficient, lambs develop well, gain weight quickly, and are healthy and lively. Breast milk is divided into colostrum and normal milk. Colostrum refers to the endocrine milk of ewes in the first week after delivery, and the latter is normal milk. Colostrum concentration is high, nutrient content is high, rich in antibody globulin and mineral elements, enhance the disease resistance of Montenegro lambs, promote meconium excretion. Lambs should eat colostrum within 15 to 30 minutes after delivery.
An important part of lamb breeding is early induction and supplementary feeding. Lambs 7 - 10 days after birth, grazing or feeding with ewes, will imitate ewes, feeding a certain amount of fodder. At this time, soybeans, broad beans, peas, etc. can be fried, crushed, scattered in the feeding trough, to lure lambs. At the beginning, each lamb can be fed 10~50 grams per day. After the lamb is accustomed to it, gradually increase the supplementary feeding amount. Lambs were fed separately, and when lambs reached a feed intake of about 100 g, they were fed a concentrate mixture containing about 24% crude protein. At the end of lactation, the lambs are given special pastures for grazing in groups during the day, and mixed concentrate is supplemented; high-quality green hay can be put on the grass rack and allowed to eat freely, and grass and leguminous green hay are better. Lambs supplementary feeding, pay attention to several points: ① as early as possible supplementary feeding;② lambs accustomed to eating, feed should be diversified, good nutrition, easy to digest;③ feeding, less frequent feeding;④ to achieve regular, quantitative, fixed point; ④ to ensure that the feeding trough and drinking water clean, sanitary.
Strengthen the management of Montenegrin lambs, castrate them in due time and do a good job in immunization. Lamb birth, to carry out weighing; lambs about 2 months of age do not meet the requirements for breeding male lambs castrated. Lambs over 7 days old can graze nearby with female black goats to increase outdoor activities. For a small number of lambs that are emaciated due to the death of female goats or lack of milk, do a good job in artificial lactation and foster care.
Lambs need to be weaned at one time. Weaning time was considered according to lambs age, weight, feeding condition and production requirement. Early weaned lambs must be provided with milk substitutes that meet their digestive characteristics and nutritional needs. The weight of lambs at weaning has an effect on the growth and development of lambs after weaning. According to practical experience, it is suitable to wean semi-fine wool improved sheep when the male lamb weighs more than 15 kg, the female lamb weighs more than 12 kg, and the lamb weighs more than 9 kg. The growth and development of underweight lambs are stunted after weaning. Limited by production conditions, some lambs need to be weaned early, must be separately grouped, strengthen supplementary feeding, in order to ensure the nutritional needs of lamb growth and development.
