Asparagus is a vegetable that mainly eats the tender shoots of vines. By hearing its name, we can imagine that asparagus must have a beard like a dragon beard. This kind of vegetable is relatively rare in the market now, and many people are not very familiar with it. But for vegetarian friends, they must have known about asparagus, and many people will plant one or two plants on their own balcony. This can not only beautify the environment, but also eat the healthiest green vegetables, why not. Today, the pro-agricultural network shares with you about the methods of planting asparagus, which you can use for reference.

1. Seed selection

There are actually many varieties of asparagus, such as the tender shoots of bergamot, the seedlings of peas, the tender shoots of asparagus and so on. At present, the most common shoots of asparagus and bergamot on the market are the tender shoots of asparagus and the tender shoots of bergamot. Because it can be guessed and processed without affecting the output of its original products, especially bergamot. However, the manifestation of asparagus is also different in different regions, the key is to see what is more suitable for planting in that area, just like in Hunan, it is more suitable to grow peas, then peas can be grown as asparagus.

2. Sowing seeds

There are two ways to sow asparagus, one is to make a small ditch in the whole land, the depth of the ditch is three or four centimeters, and then spread the seeds evenly in the ditch, finally cover the seeds with one to two centimeters of thin soil, and then water each ditch and cover it with a layer of plastic film or a layer of grain grass or withered grass fertilizer, which can speed up the emergence of seedlings. The second sowing method is relatively simple, watering the land that needs to be planted to ensure that all the soil is irrigated, then sprinkling the zongzi of Ajing asparagus evenly, and finally using the tool to bury the seeds in the soil, or cover with a layer of fine soil to cover the seeds, and then cover with a layer of withered grass.

3. Fertilization

Asparagus, that is, we eat the tender shoots of plants, so we just want to grow more branches of vegetables, so that the yield of asparagus will be high. We generally need continuous fertilization in the growth process of asparagus. In general, we need to apply fertilizer after each harvest, in order to promote its growth rate and shorten the time of the second harvest. The commonly used fertilizer is partial urea and biogas water, so that the seedlings can grow faster, at the same time, we can remove the main heart of the vine and promote it to grow lateral branches, which can greatly increase the yield.

4. Disease prevention

Asparagus can be said to be disease-free, that is, there are occasional pests, such as aphids, vegetable leaf insects, flying moth pests and curlers, which mainly harm the leaves and stems of asparagus. In this way, the quality of asparagus will decline, and in serious cases, it will cause the plant to wither and die. Manual traps and traps can be used for daily control, and chemical control can be carried out when necessary. The most commonly used agents are chlorothalonil solvent, trichlorfon and Bordeaux solution. Be careful not to spray pesticides within half a month before harvest.

5. Harvest

The harvest of asparagus is relatively simple, that is, when the seedlings of asparagus grow to a certain extent and the branches grow about the same, we harvest according to the length of each asparagus 30 centimeters. According to the normal growth rate of asparagus, it can be harvested every four or five days.
