Coriander has a long history in China and is one of the side dishes that many people like very much. But it is also because of its unique aroma that many people hate it. In fact, parsley has the effect of invigorating the stomach and eliminating food, and the fruit can also be used as medicine to dispel wind and clear phlegm. So what diseases will coriander encounter in the process of planting? Next, the editor will talk to you about the common diseases of coriander.

1. Leaf blight

As long as leaf blight begins to occur, it will immediately spread to the whole land, and the harm to parsley is more serious. When the disease is mainly harmful to the leaves of parsley, the leaves will turn brown when suffering from the disease, and when there is too much water, the leaves will rot. When the disease is serious, it will invade the heart leaves along the veins, resulting in a reduction in the production of coriander. The cause of the disease is generally due to the seeds carrying germs, so the seeds should be disinfected before sowing. For the management of seeds, the ventilation and drainage of coriander field should be strengthened. It is found that the disease can be prevented and treated by spraying mancozeb and other agents.

2. Root rot

Root rot mainly occurs in low-lying, relatively humid areas, mainly harms the coriander root, the root will be brown, rotten, almost no roots. It is broken with a gentle pull of the hand, and it loses its commercial value for this kind of parsley. Try not to plant on wet, low-lying land. Too much water can easily lead to root rot. If it is treated with chemicals, it is mainly to change the properties of the soil. Carbendazim and other agents can be mixed into the soil and sprinkled into the ditch before sowing.

3. Mosaic virus disease

Mosaic virus disease mainly occurs when coriander is planted in the greenhouse in winter, yellow leaves will appear on the coriander plant, and the heart leaf is the most serious. It will cause parsley to be short, without new roots and leaves, and eventually lead to wilting and death. The virus of viral disease is spread by aphids, which spreads quickly. The solution is to disinfect the seeds before sowing, soak the seeds in an 800-fold solution of 50% chlorobromoisocyanuric acid for about 3 hours, and then drain the water to sow. When seedlings grow, 3% acetamiprid suspension is sprayed once a week for about a month to inhibit the activity of the virus.

4. Sclerotinia disease

Sclerotinia sclerotiorum is the most common disease in coriander, with an incidence of up to half. Germs can grow in the land for a long time, and the continuous cropping of the land provides a very good opportunity for germs to reproduce, and there is a chance of disease in coriander at any time. It will harm the roots of coriander, always from the bottom up, there will be white patches on the surface, and then the surface will rot to reveal black sclerotia. The main solution is that continuous cropping can not be carried out in the source of the disease, and pentachloronitrobenzene is mixed with soil. Seeds can use disease-free or sterilized seeds. Pay attention to the drainage and ventilation of coriander land, you can also use chemical spraying.

The above four are the common diseases in the process of coriander planting. In fact, the causes of all kinds of diseases are that the coriander land is not ventilated and humid, and the main reason is to pay attention to the ventilation of parsley land. It is necessary to pluck weeds and apply more fertilizer, and disinfect the seeds as far as possible before sowing, so as to reduce the incidence of disease and reduce the loss.
