Black bean is the black cultivation of soybeans, its protein content reaches 36%, and is easy to digest, is one of the main foods to supplement human protein. Black beans are also rich in trace elements, which have a very good effect on regulating the function of the human body and meeting the trace elements of the brain. So today, I would like to introduce to you the points for attention when growing black beans.

1. Select varieties

The quality of black bean varieties directly affects the yield and quality of black beans. Some studies have found that if black beans are not purified, after two to three years, the beans will become smaller. Therefore, when choosing seeds, we should choose full seeds of similar size to plant, so as to increase the yield.

2. Seed drying and seed mixing

Spread the seeds evenly on the flat ground on a sunny day and turn them for about two days to improve the germination rate of the seeds. After the seeds are dried and treated, each kilogram of seeds are mixed evenly with 0.1% dilution of zinc sulfate, 0.5% dilution of borax and 2% dilution of ammonium molybdate.

3. Soil preparation and fertilization

If there are crops before planting black beans, the land should be ploughed again, the depth of ploughing is about 0.2 meters, after ploughing, the soil should be solid, the drainage between the soil should be good, and the land should be formed into a virtual and solid structure. 2500 kilograms of farm manure should be applied per mu before farming.

4. Sowing seeds

Generally, sowing begins after the end of spring, depending on the situation. Dig the ground into an arrangement of trenches. When sowing, bury the bean eyes facing the soil, with the condition that you can't see the bean seed, and compact the soil after covering the soil. If it is a mixed seed, you can use hole sowing, each hole two to three seeds, the required seeds per mu is about 3 kilograms.

5. Field management

Check the emergence of seeds immediately after emergence, and replant immediately if there is a lack of seedlings. Weeding should be carried out at least 3 times from seedling emergence to flowering stage, and then urea should be applied. In case of drought, water should be irrigated in time to replenish water for black beans, and water should be discharged in time in the rainy season. When the seedling grows higher than 30cm, you should remember to pick the heart, slow down the top growth, and control its horizontal development.

6. Disease control

Although black beans have strong disease resistance and there are not many diseases and insect pests that can harm black beans, there will still be some diseases if they are not managed properly. For example, virus diseases, aphids, etc., should pay close attention to the stem and leaf of the seedling, and prescribe the right medicine according to the changes of the stem and leaf.

These are the things you need to pay attention to when growing black beans, although each crop should pay attention to the same. But the suitable environment for each crop is different, like black beans, when selecting seeds in the early stage, we must be careful not to choose small, shrunken seeds, which has a great impact on yield and quality.
