3. Improper management: in the process of zucchini production, if the nutrient supply is insufficient, the temperature in the early stage of development is high, or the root system is injured, or the fertilizer and water is insufficient, the absorption of nutrients and water is blocked. When a large amount of chemical fertilizer was applied, the soil salt content was too high, which led to the high concentration of soil solution and inhibited the nutrient absorption of zucchini roots. Too much watering, too much soil moisture, root respiration is inhibited, can not produce enough energy, resulting in reduced water and fertilizer absorption, easy to produce sharp-billed melon.

4. if there are too many melons, the nutrition can not be evenly absorbed: in the production process, if too many melons are left, the nutrition distribution of zucchini is uneven; one melon is left according to each leaf, which leads to too many melon strips and fierce competition for nutrition. as a result, a large number of melon strips form pointed-mouth melons due to lack of nutrition.

5. Improper temperature management: zucchini is a medium-temperature crop, and its suitable temperature is 10-25 ℃, but many farmers adjust the temperature to about 30 ℃ in the daytime to make zucchini grow well, resulting in unsuitable growth of zucchini, excessive consumption of nutrients, and prone to malformed melons.

Prevention and control methods:

1. Pollinate or order flowers in time, do not increase the anther concentration at will.

2. Rational fertilization, strengthen fertilizer and water management, avoid one-time excessive use of chemical fertilizer or partial application of high nitrogen fertilizer, increase organic fertilizer, stimulate root growth, and avoid soil being too dry and too wet; foliar spraying 500 times solution of Gexi No.1 regularly to balance nutrient transport and reduce deformed fruit.
