The Food and Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health and Welfare (hereinafter referred to as the Food and Drug Administration) announced that a total of 15 tonnes of hairy crabs imported from China were found to have "poison of the century" dioxin, suspected to have entered the market and been eaten by the public! the case is under investigation by the keelung district attorney's office.

Tip: where is crab most likely to remain dioxin? Chinese often ingest crab liver, pancreas, crab roe, crab paste, etc. These parts have a higher chance of dioxin. When eating crabs, Chinese people will directly eat the yellow part under the crab shell, mistaken for "crab yellow", in fact, this part is the liver and hepatopancreas of crabs; the darker part located next to it is the crab yellow of female crabs, while the crab paste of male crabs is white and thick, which is easier to distinguish. Therefore, if peripheral hepatopancreas are eaten together, the risk of dioxin consumption is relatively high.
