Some flower friends especially love gardenia, but sometimes the intensity of watering is not good, it is easy to let it have stagnant water rotten roots. So, after the gardenia rotten root, how to deal with it?

First of all, after finding that the gardenia at home is rotten, detach it from the flowerpot, then clean up the soil above the roots, and then cut off all its rotten roots with scissors.

After treatment, put it in carbendazim solution or potassium permanganate solution, soak for about an hour, then leave it in a cool place and let it dry.

Then find a flowerpot, or the original flowerpot, mix the rotten leaf soil, sandy loam and river sand at 2:2:1, and first put some ceramsite, cinder or other things that can cushion the pot at the bottom of the flowerpot.

Then put the nutritious soil in, and then re-pot the treated gardenia and water it thoroughly. Just after putting it into the basin, keep it in a cool place for maintenance. Wait until its plant has adapted to the surrounding environment, and then slowly give it more light.

If you have camellias, happiness trees, jasmine or other woody plants that have rotten roots, you can also deal with them in this way.

So, how to maintain gardenia every day?

Gardenia likes to grow in humus-rich, fertile acid soil, so before you pot it, you can mix it with rotten bean cake, and then add the right amount of ferrous sulfate to it.

When watering, you should pay attention to dry and thoroughly. If there is Rain Water, snow water or fermented rice panning water around you, you can use it to water gardenia flowers. Note that tap water needs to let it dry for two or three days before watering it.

In winter, we should pay attention to put it in a place with plenty of light, stop fertilizing it, and control the amount of watering when watering, so as to avoid watering too many rotten roots.

About every year or two, in the spring, we should pay attention to change the basin, and at the same time, we should also pay attention to pruning its branches in the spring, so that it can sprout new branches and promote plant growth.
