Spinach is one of the most popular vegetables in China. The nutritional value of spinach is very high. It has various functions such as relieving blood and thirst, relieving intestines and so on. The position in vegetables is relatively high, and the cultivation of spinach has become the main vegetable planting project in our country. However, growing spinach still requires certain conditions, because spinach has certain requirements on the surrounding growth environment. So what kind of environment does it take to grow spinach? Let's take a look at it.

1. Temperature

Spinach has a strong cold tolerance and is the strongest of all leafy vegetables. As long as the temperature after sowing is not less than 4 degrees, it can germinate normally, but the most suitable temperature for seed germination is about 18 degrees. The optimum temperature for its growth is also about 18 degrees. When the temperature exceeds 26 degrees, the growth of spinach will be limited and can not grow normally. The plants on the ground can develop normally as low as 6 degrees, so the surrounding temperature should be strictly controlled in the process of growing spinach, so that the growth of spinach should be in the most suitable environment to promote growth and prevent problems caused by temperature discomfort.

2. Lighting

Spinach needs a long light time in the growth process, because the flower bud differentiation is directly related to the light time and intensity. Long light time and high intensity are beneficial to the flower bud differentiation of spinach and promote flowering, pollination and fertilization. And when promoting flower bud differentiation, we should not only ensure light, but also keep it in a state of low temperature as far as possible. After flower bud differentiation, increasing the temperature and keeping the light time can promote the bolting and flowering of spinach. With the increase of pollination rate, the growth ability of spinach becomes stronger and stronger, and the quality and yield of spinach will be further increased.

3. Moisture

Spinach is a kind of vegetable with high water demand. Because spinach has large leaves, plenty of soft water, and a lot of water organs. Therefore, in the planting process to ensure that there is sufficient water in the field, lack of water will lead to spinach plant short and thin, reduce yield, poor quality, low commodity value. If we stay in the environment of high temperature and no water for a long time, the growth of spinach will be inhibited and the reproductive growth rate can not be controlled, which leads to the phenomenon of immature bolting of spinach. In the process of planting, the air humidity of spinach should be kept at about 85%, and the soil moisture should not be less than 70%.

4. Soil

Spinach is not very demanding on soil, it can quickly adapt to a variety of different soils and grow normally, but there will be some differences in yield and quality. So if you want to grow high-yield and high-quality spinach, you should choose soil with high fertility, looseness and strong ability to preserve fertilizer and water. Pay attention to the PH value of the soil, the soil is alkaline is conducive to the growth of spinach, excessive acid will lead to spinach can not grow. Spinach has strong growth ability, so we should increase the content of nitrogen fertilizer in the soil and promote the growth of spinach.

The above four points are a brief introduction to the growth environment requirements of spinach planting, and the premise of growing spinach is to consider these factors. To see whether the planting area is suitable for spinach cultivation, we should not choose blindly, otherwise we will lose only ourselves. That's all for today's introduction.
