This year's highest-level and largest bonsai event in Lingnan-- the 2018 South Greening seedlings Expo and the International Bonsai Association (BCI) China Regional Committee member Bonsai Fine works Exhibition and China Bonsai Invitational Exhibition has come to an end. People are deeply impressed by the richness of their exhibitors, the comprehensiveness of art schools, the vast social influence, and so on.

Bonsai exhibition is a festival for bonsai people. Professor Liang Yuemei from Taiwan said: displaying bonsai in front of everyone is a happy and important thing for a bonsai lover. Before the exhibition, there is no doubt that it is necessary to review the bonsai from the beginning, and each enthusiast always hopes to present his work in the eyes of the viewer with the most beautiful and perfect posture, and get a good evaluation.

There is no doubt that what attracts the most attention in each bonsai exhibition is the prize winning of the exhibitors. Which works have won the grand prize? Which work won the highest award? The award-winning works have attracted countless flashes and eyeballs. "A sword has been sharpened in ten years, but the frost blade has never been tried." Today, Shijun, who has grievances? "No one asks about ten years of frost, and he becomes famous all over the world." The winners also reaped great honor and great joy. It is only natural that bonsai people are tired and happy!

The author believes that there are some unaward-winning works in the exhibition, which deserve our attention and appreciation, that is, the works that do not participate in the exhibition.

At the working meeting of the judges of this exhibition, Mr. Huang Jianwei, the general consultant, on behalf of the chairman of the BCI China Regional Committee, the chairman of the Flower Bonsai Stone appreciation Branch of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture, and the Chinese bonsai master, Mr. Chen Chang, stated that his exhibitors did not participate in the award. Chairman Chen Chang set an example, and many bonsai art masters and seniors who participated in the exhibition also expressed that they did not participate in the exhibition. In addition, the works of the evaluation and supervision committee that avoided the review according to the evaluation scheme, as many as 28 pots of works were not evaluated in this exhibition. these works are masterpieces of old age and vigor, do not participate in the evaluation, and are willing to be green leaves against safflower, leaving more award opportunities to everyone objectively. This is undoubtedly a positive positive energy.

I sincerely hope that this practice will become the norm and system of bonsai exhibitions.

He began to study bonsai creation in 1979. In 1987, at the bonsai exhibition "May Day International Labour Day" held by Nanning Workers' Culture Palace, Acacia won the gold medal. The construction of Nanning Huayi Bonsai Garden in 1989 to 2010, and moved to the horticultural field in Yulin in 2011. At the National Bonsai Exhibition celebrating Hong Kong's return to the motherland held in Guilin, Guangxi in 1997, the six potted bonsai works won 2 gold and 2 silver. In the past 20 years, he has participated in more than 10 national bonsai exhibitions or international bonsai invitation exhibitions and won more than 10 gold awards. Born in Chongqing in 1955. Mr. Tian Yiwei came from a bonsai family, loved art since childhood, learned skills from his father, and carried on the past and the future. In more than 40 years of bonsai art, theory combined with practice, skillfully used the theory and techniques of traditional Chinese painting, wrote spirit with form, and used artistic exaggeration to create landscapes, flood and drought bonsai. He formed his own unique artistic style of "rugged, thick, magnificent and bold". In his works, he emphasized coherence, rich levels, complete modeling, dignified momentum, natural and vivid, both form and spirit, especially the treatment of barge beaches. Rough without losing delicacy, unity and variety, deeply praised by colleagues The tree stump bonsai created by him has formed a large number of natural stump bonsai with Bayu artistic style on the basis of maintaining the traditional banding skills.

He is currently the dean and professor of the School of physical Education of Southwest Forestry University, visiting researcher of Southwest Green Development Research Institute, bonsai professor and master's supervisor of Landscape Architecture College, vice chairman of Bonsai Stone appreciation Branch of Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture, and chairman of Yunnan Bonsai Stone appreciation Association. In 1986, he began to engage in the creation, collection, teaching and research of bonsai, stone appreciation and root art. His works have won many awards in provincial, national and international bonsai stone exhibitions. Published hundreds of bonsai and other works, more than 80 papers. He is the chief editor of 5 bonsai and teaching materials and 4 monographs. Xi Youshan, BCI International Bonsai Master, Senior Bonsai Artist in China. BCI International Bonsai Association China District Committee serves as Vice Chairman and Deputy Secretary-General of Flower Bonsai Stone appreciation Branch of Chinese Landscape Architecture Society.

Since 1986, he has been involved in bonsai art and devoted himself to bonsai research and creation. he has published more than 30 academic papers and bonsai production articles, especially in the research and exploration of literati trees. several bonsai have won awards in bonsai exhibitions at all levels throughout the country.

In September 2008, he participated in the Seventh China Bonsai Exhibition and won the Silver Award.

In October 2012, the eighth China Bonsai Exhibition won one gold prize and one silver award.

The 2014 China (Kaifeng) Bonsai Invitational Exhibition was organized in September 2014. The individual won the gold and silver award.

In September 2016, Henan Province was organized to participate in the 9th China Bonsai Exhibition and the International Bonsai Association BCI China Bonsai Exhibition. The individual won two silver medals.

Huang Zicheng's works

Huang Daicheng is currently honorary president, technical adviser and founding president of Lingnan Bonsai Art Society of Hong Kong, vice chairman of Flower Bonsai Stone appreciation Branch of Chinese Landscape Architecture Society, Chinese bonsai art master, vice chairman of BCI China Regional Committee, and BCI international bonsai master.

He began to create Lingnan bonsai as early as the 1970s. In 2008, he was invited to perform as a teacher of Lingnan bonsai art in the eighth Crippi Cup International Bonsai Art Exhibition in Italy, as well as a demonstration performance in Lingnan Bonsai Art in the 2008 World Annual meeting of the International Bonsai Association of Italy. Over the years, Huang's works have won important awards in large-scale bonsai exhibitions in the world, China and Hong Kong.

In order to promote bonsai art in Lingnan, Huang has been a gardening tutor at the Amateur Learning Center of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade unions for more than 20 years, teaching courses based on the basic knowledge of horticulture and Lingnan bonsai. Thousands of students have followed him to study bonsai. It has made a great contribution to cultivating the new blood of Lingnan bonsai art.
