Master raise gentleman orchid, one leaf grows one plant, dip it into it, run white roots for 2 weeks, raise 200 trees for 3 years.

Orchid is a very popular family flower, many flower friends like to raise a pot of orchid at home, because it not only has green and straight leaves, but also can blossom bright flowers in winter, raising magnolia at home, implying that the host is noble, upright and elegant.

When conserving magnolia, many flower friends buy some potted orchids in the flower market, or maintain them by sowing and breeding themselves. Recently, some flower friends use the leaves of Cymbidium for cutting propagation, through reasonable maintenance, the leaves of Cymbidium actually grow white roots for 2 weeks. Today, I would like to share with you this method of cutting leaves of Cymbidium.

The gentleman orchid leaves are inserted, 1 leaf is dipped in "it", and the white roots run for 2 weeks.

The method of cutting the leaves of Cymbidium to get the plant is very simple. Cut the leaves from the lowest part of the root of Cymbidium with a blade, then wash the leaves with clean water and fully dissolve them with 1 tablet of aspirin to 500 grams of water. Soak the leaves of Cymbidium in aqueous solution for 30 minutes, because aspirin contains acetylsalicylic acid, which can promote plant rooting and growth. Soaking the cut leaves of Cymbidium in aspirin aqueous solution can promote the rapid rooting of the plant in the later stage.

Then the soaked leaves of Magnolia can be cut in a clean sand substrate, of course, they can also be cut in vermiculite, and then the potted plants can be placed on a ventilated balcony with good lighting to ensure that the sand is moist. The leaves of Magnolia can grow white roots in about 2 weeks, and if you continue to maintain them for about 2 weeks, you will see buds growing at the base of the leaves. Using this method to propagate Cymbidium is very fast. A large number of potted Magnolia can be obtained after three years of cultivation.

Ramet propagation of Cymbidium

The most common way of propagation of Cymbidium is to propagate separately. After three years of maintenance, the plants will grow lateral buds. Generally, the characters of the lateral buds are the same as those of the mother plants. When the lateral buds grow to 5-10 cm high, they can be propagated separately. In the annual spring and autumn season, when you can change the pot and soil for the magnolia, by the way, cut the lateral buds from the mother plant with the root system, transplant them into the flowerpot, and you can get a new potted orchid after normal maintenance.

Sowing and propagation of Cymbidium

Cymbidium is also a kind of plant that propagates by sowing. Orchids blossom in winter, and potted plants maintained by families need artificial pollination before they can grow fruit in spring. Generally, the fruit ripens in autumn. The seeds of Cymbidium can be picked and collected and placed for a winter after ripening. Soak the seeds in clean water for 2 days during the Spring Festival, then spread the seeds evenly in the mixed soil, cover the upper part with a layer of pine needle soil, and put the potted plants on a ventilated and warm balcony.

Sowing reproduction and individual plant reproduction are very common, the operation is relatively simple, and the success rate is very high. But for cutting propagation, we need to master certain skills, prepare clean leaves and cutting substrate, later after reasonable maintenance, the plant can take root and sprout.
