Bullfrog, as a very common dish on our dinner table, is welcomed by many people. Bullfrog is a kind of edible frog, its meat is very fresh and tender, its taste is smooth and refreshing, and it has not low medicinal value. It is the most important farmed frog not only in China, but also all over the world. Bullfrog farming has become a major breeding project for many people, but there are so many growth stages of bullfrog, how to manage it? Let's take a look at it with the editor.

1. Tadpole management

Tadpoles are the initial form of bullfrogs. When managing tadpoles, regular inspection should be done to observe the activity and eating of tadpoles, and then record them. Control the temperature and depth of the culture pond water, manage the water quality, and ensure that the water quality is clean and clear. Do a good job in disease prevention of tadpoles. To strengthen the management of feed, corresponding measures should be taken in time for the abnormal situation of tadpoles. One of the more serious is the floating head, which represents insufficient dissolved oxygen or excessive oxygen, so adjust the dissolved oxygen content in the culture pond in time.

2. Management of young frogs

The young frog is the basic appearance of the tadpole successfully transformed into a frog. At this time, the young frog's body is very weak, its resistance is not strong, and it is very prone to various diseases if it is mismanaged. The feed of young frogs can be fed with a small amount of meat, such as dried silkworm chrysalis and animal viscera, but pay attention to the amount, not too much, resulting in young frogs to eat too full, which is not conducive to nutrition absorption and later digestion. The growth of young frogs should control the temperature and humidity, make good classification measures, and the prevention and control of natural enemies and diseases is the most important. If overwintering is to be carried out, its overwintering management is also a top priority.

3. Adult frog management

With the growth of young frogs, their size will become bigger and bigger. At this time, we have to reasonably regulate the breeding density according to the body type and weight of adult frogs, usually about 30 per square meter. After reaching the frog period, the bullfrog's growth ability is strengthened, it is more and more energetic, and its jumping ability is gradually improved. Therefore, we should do a good job of anti-escape measures around the breeding pond, improve the height of the fence, and prevent adult frogs from jumping out of the breeding pond. The suitable temperature for the growth of adult frogs is about 25 degrees. Control the water temperature and do a good job of shading and shading in summer to prevent direct sunlight from burning on the bullfrog skin. The time when the adult frog reaches the spawning period has a lot to do with the changes in the weather. It usually begins to lay eggs on a sunny morning of 22 degrees or above.

4. Pro-frog management

Parent frogs are frogs that choose strong growth ability as breeding among adult frogs, which are generally large in size and high in weight. And the breeding and growth of parent frogs need a lot of space, so the number of parent frogs per square meter should not exceed two. Pro-frog reproduction requires a lot of nutrition, the daily food intake will exceed the body weight at least 1 × 10, and the nutrition of the bait should be comprehensive. As parent frogs are used for spawning and reproduction, the growth environment of parent frogs should not only be suitable for the growth of parent frogs, but also ensure that they can hatch eggs smoothly, with a water temperature of about 25 degrees and a water level of no more than 35 centimeters, so as to improve the hatching rate of frog eggs.

The above is the different feeding and management of bullfrog at each stage, although the growth stage of bullfrog is much more than this, but the above four are more important periods for bullfrog growth. We must strengthen the management, and close attention should be paid to the parent frog, because the success of the parent frog management is closely related to whether we can maintain the continuous and efficient breeding of bullfrog.
