Parsley is actually European parsley, and many people also call it parsley. It mainly appears in western food and can be used in dishes, seasonings and vegetables. Its fruit has diuretic effects, and its roots are also edible. It is very rich in vitamins, which can be used to calm the liver and reduce blood pressure, calm nerves, prevent cancer, fight cancer and nourish blood deficiency, so how to grow parsley? Is there any difference between the method of growing celery and celery? Let's take a look at how to grow parsley.

1. Land selection and preparation

Parsley likes to be moist, but it does not mean that it is not afraid of waterlogging, so the planting land is generally chosen in areas with higher terrain, and drainage pipes should be more convenient, and then turn the land deeply and prepare the soil at least half a month in advance, so that there will be a certain amount of time to dry the soil, at the same time, disinfect the soil and eliminate soil pests. Wait until about two days before planting, sprinkle enough organic fertilizer in the field, then turn the land again, and flatten the land so that there can be no stagnant water, and finally make high or flat beds according to the planting land and local climatic conditions.

2. Scientific sowing

Generally speaking, parsley can be planted in summer, autumn and winter. In autumn, the seeds are sown around October of each year, while in winter, the seeds are sown from December to the month, and in summer, they are sowed around June. The sowing method is usually strip sowing or direct seeding. Before sowing, we must pay attention to soaking the seeds in warm water. After 12 hours, remove the seeds and rinse them with clean water. After the water has been dried, it can be sown.

3. Transplanting seedlings

When waiting for the parsley seedlings to grow five or six leaves, about 10 to 15 centimeters at this time, the seedlings can be transplanted and planted, and the planting density is generally carried out according to the spacing of 30 to 40 centimeters between rows and 15 to 20 centimeters between plants. The parsley growing at this density is tender and fat, and at the same time, it will be more convenient in the later stage of field operation, which can save a lot of unnecessary labor.

4. Field management

The parsley seedlings after planting need to have a process of adaptation. Generally, after light weight, we need to water them to maintain the moisture in the soil. After seven to ten days, check the growth of parsley in the field and find dead seedlings. The diseased seedlings should be cleared in time, and the seedlings should be replenished after disinfection. At the same time, combined with ploughing and weeding, topdressing should be carried out once a month after the parsley seedlings are fully survived. at the same time, an appropriate amount of birds should be applied after each harvest to promote the growth of parsley and increase the yield of parsley. The treatment of parsley planted in summer needs to strengthen water management in addition to fertilization. we can cover the soil with a layer of straw to maintain soil moisture and achieve the effect of cooling.

5. Rational harvesting

Parsley sown in autumn can not be harvested until spring or summer, that is, it can be harvested from May to August in the coming year, and summer sowing can not be harvested until November. Winter sowing can generally be harvested from May to December, and it is generally necessary to wait until the plant has at least 15 leaves, while the bottom and uppermost leaves cannot be harvested. Only the leaves in the middle can be harvested, and they should be harvested gently, so as not to tear the young leaves and buds of parsley, so that the yield and quality of parsley will not be affected.
