From the beginning of this year's production season to June next year, the paulownia fruit and vegetable producers' cooperative expects to export 600 metric tons of bananas to Japan.

The bananas exported to Japan this time are "oolong" varieties of bananas. Su Mingli, chairman of the board, said that the cooperative and farmers are contracted as "oolong" varieties of Huangjin bananas, which are more golden than the common bananas in the market, and their colors are golden and attractive. And the taste is sweet and not easy to crack the fruit. The excellent quality and delicious bananas produced by Yunlin, coupled with Yunlin farmers' excellent banana garden management skills, have brought Taiwan bananas back to the Japanese market and become Yunlin's "banana" pride.
