In the process of maintaining succulent plants, everyone has encountered the situation that leaves fall off as soon as they are touched. Do you know why succulent plants lose their leaves?

Today, let's talk about the reasons for succulent plants losing leaves. I hope it will be helpful for everyone to grow succulent plants.

1. Caused by black rot

After a large number of investigations, it is found that nine times out of ten the succulent leaves of flower friends are black rot, and the specific symptoms are that they wake up and find that a lot of succulent leaves have lost a lot of leaves; the leaves fall off at the slightest touch; there is water on the fallen leaves (sometimes the leaves look normal).

Reference treatment measures:

If it is not serious, cut off the black rot with a sterilized knife, cut it as clean as possible, and then dry the wound in an astigmatic and ventilated place and put it on the basin.

In more serious cases, it may be saved by throwing away the black rot leaves (generally speaking, it is basically impossible for the black rot leaves to be cut again) or cutting as soon as possible.

In serious cases, the succulent poles and roots go black, and it's too late to find out, and it's basically hopeless.

Note:

Black rot is also contagious to a certain extent. If one of the meat is found to have black rot, the other meat should be isolated at this time. Black rot generally occurs in summer, usually maintenance should pay more attention to ventilation.

If it is at a later stage, it will be basically hopeless.

2. Too much water

There are some novice meat hands who can't control their hands and keep watering when they see the meat a little dry, resulting in excessive moisture that causes the leaves to fall off as soon as they touch them. For this kind of situation, we must pay attention to watering at ordinary times. In general, dry and thorough watering is OK, and it is OK not to cause stagnant water in the basin.

3. Lack of light

Sometimes the lack of light for a long time can cause the leaves to fall off as soon as they are touched. The best solution to this situation is to bask in the sun more often, but be careful not to get sunburn in summer. Some meat needs shade.

4. Caused by rotten roots

The leaves fall off as soon as they are touched, and sometimes there may be something wrong with the root system of the meat. At this time, you can pull the meat out to see if there is anything wrong with the root system. If there is a problem, cut off the rotten root with a sterilized knife, and then put some carbendazim powder on the wound. Dry the wound and then put it back on the basin.

5. The soil and flowerpot are airtight.

Leaves fall in addition to the above four cases, sometimes the soil and flowerpots used for meat will also lead to the problem of leaf fall if the soil and flowerpots used for meat are not breathable.

6. Normal metabolism

This is easier to judge, in this case, only the leaves at the bottom fall off, and the cotyledons are wrinkled and not easy to fall off.

How to bask in the sun for succulent plants?

1. If the succulent plants planted indoors for a long time should gradually increase the light when they are moved outdoors, otherwise the leaves will be easily sunburned. Without excessive enhancement of light, sunburn occurs, mainly in the presence of brown spots on the leaves, and if the light is too strong, the plant may even die.

2. Usually planted indoors, if you want to move outdoors, it is recommended that you first put it in a place of astigmatism or where there is a glass barrier.

3. Succulent plants need four hours of sufficient light a day to grow healthily. If the sun is too strong in summer, it is recommended to pull the sunshade net to avoid direct sunlight.
