Many friends who grow flowers leave messages backstage about how to change the pots of succulent plants. And afraid of their own way is not correct, in exchange for hurting them. It doesn't matter. The editor is coming to share with you today how to change the pot for succulent plants. The little bench should be ready:

One

Stop watering 3-5 days before changing pots for succulent plants. When changing the basin, the bottom of the basin will be deducted from the basin and the soil at the root will be shaken clean. Cut off the withered, rotten and dead roots, and retain the roots that are strong and have good absorptive capacity.

II.

Wash the roots of the plant. Basically wash the soil off the plant, as the soil it carries is likely to contain a large number of eggs and bacteria. The strength of washing should be light and the roots should be hurt as little as possible. You can put the root in a basin of water and shake it back and forth gently. If flushing, do not turn on the big faucet to wash with very strong water, so that the root system will be greatly damaged and broken. Generally clean, you can see the white main root.

Three

After cleaning the roots, if you feel unsure of survival, you don't have to trim them, just cut off the dead, diseased and withered roots; if you think it's necessary, trim the roots. Cut off those diseased roots, withered roots, dead roots, and those overgrown and tangled lateral roots. This will make the whole root system appear to be evenly distributed and promote the growth of new roots. After root pruning, the new root system will become stronger, making the plant grow stronger.

Restaurant

The next step is sterilization, which can be soaked in a prepared sterilizing solvent for about an hour. The concentration should not be too high, multiple plants can be soaked in a small washbasin. Carbendazim and chlorothalonil can be used. After the sterilization task is completed, the roots of the plant are naturally dried by air. Normally, the basin can be moved on the same day.

Wu

Choose a good flowerpot and spray a fungicide. Put the sterilized plant material into the flowerpot, first put some broken tiles, gravel, charcoal and so on at the bottom of the pot, and the particle size of the plant material gradually decreases from the bottom to the top. This is good for drainage.

Land

Place the plant in the center of the flowerpot and cover the soil until the root is completely covered, 2-3 cm away from the edge of the flowerpot. Gently compact the soil with your fingers, and then spray the soil with a thin layer of fungicide to give the soil a little moisture to facilitate the germination of new roots.

Put the plants that have completed the above tasks in a place of astigmatism and must not be exposed to the sun. Keep it ventilated and cool, so it's not appropriate to water it at this time.

Seven

Can be watered after a week, restore sunshine (but not exposure), normal maintenance. In the slow seedling period, if you feel that the basin soil is too dry, you can spray a thin layer of water mist on the basin soil surface every day, only to increase the humidity! After the slow seedling stage, we must supply enough water, or the plant will continue to lose leaves, malaise and so on because of lack of water, and if it is serious, it will face death.

By the way, changing pots must avoid the dormant period of plants, otherwise. (all know)
